The Doppelbocks are the strongest of beers. When you wish to drink strong beer, grab the bock by the horns. Double your enjoyment by drinking the Bock cool.

Pours a one finger white head that fades quickly, leaving little lace. Crystal clear amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Malty/hoppy nose. Flavor is sweet malty with some hoppy overtones. 330ml bottle €1.72 Alko Oy Helsinki, Finland. From my notes - 7/9/2008.

Big coarse offwhite head shrinks quickly. Body is beautiful copper. Roasty, caramelly oily aroma with notes of nuts and alcohol. Deep, sweet, roasty caramel taste with alcoholic notes. Very clean taste and mouthfeel. Dryish roasty caramel aftertaste leaves kind of dry medicinal feeling. Quite good. (0.33l bottle. Got to love the Finnish sound system: tuplapukki = doublebock.)

Bottle@Home. So Malt Liqour is like cursing to most people. However, this is not a bad beer. Bit alcoholic and sweet but has some nice flavours as well and is also balanced. Very sticky mouth feel.

Poured an amber-like body with a thick white head. Sweet malty nose, alcohol taste. Light sweet malty taste, watery, some alcohol, some light meat, extremely light bitterness.

Canned. Dark golden coloured. Malty caramel aroma. Sweet malty flavour with notes of caramel, alcohol and loads of metal. Very primitive, but nice.

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber colour with a creamy, white head. Fat, sweetish malty nose. Incredibly solid body with loads of sweet caramel malt and some potent alcohol. A very solid brew. 030106

It is a warm golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of flower and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of flower, malt, caramel and the alcohol is well hidden.
