Caramel hue and flecks of froth. Caraway rye bead and a soft doughy element set against dried leaves; a touch of alcohol. The scales tip towards the malts but it’s well attenuated. Hops and alcohol nibble in the slick finish; light carbonation.

Outmanoeuvred by Karhu’s Tosi Vahva in this weight class, but why not just grab a Koff Porter?

33cl bottle, best before 10.2008.

Amber ale with short off-white head. Malty aroma and flavour. Bread? Sugar sticky palate. Nice. Best finish ale ever (not a very significant statement though...)

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep golden color. Maltaroma with a hint of butter and grass. Grainy sweet, buttery grassy flavor. Notes of alcohol and apple. Powerful hellerbock.

Tasted 6/2/07 Helsinki, Finland. 33 cl bottle. Ginger ale colour, soapy looking head. Malty and spiced aroma, smooth taste with an alcohol bite at the end. Not bad for such a strong beer.

33 cl can. Golden color with a thick white lasting head. Weak arome of straw and malt. Taste: Sweetness, some alc, some caramel. Nothing special. Mostly a ’drink to get drunk’-beer.

500 ml can. Finland. I did not find anything good on this. Just sweetness and distinctive taste of alcohol. Quite horrifying. And nothing to do with Bock.

It is a warm golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of flower and malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of flower, malt, caramel and the alcohol is well hidden.
