UPDATED: NOV 21, 2009 a summer beer from Ölvisholt aimed at women. Filtered wheat beer, yellow and very fizzy. Nice citrus aroma, with a very small clove and hop bite in the end. Very decent stuff and maybe too drinkable

Hazy Golden with a greyish tone and a small White head. Bublegum aroma with a small sourness. Sweetness like bubblegum, mild acidity fresh grassy bitterness and little sour. Very unusual wheat ale

Bottle at Mogwai, Helsingborg. 24th September 2011.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of wheat, spices with a bad musty and sour note. The taste is very metallic with weak flavours of wheat and cream. Spicy finish.

From bottle at SlovakSniper & Rodenbach99 Iceland super tasting, merci beaucoup Yan, Yan et Pat! Weird pale hazy white/greenish pour, almost no head. Quite foul smelling, lots of urine, rotten wheat, takes getting used to. Taste isn’t as bad, witbier like with lots of lemony flavors and spice. Very light palate, low carbonation, a tad watery. The aroma really takes this one down a notch in the drinkability factor.

(Sample at rodenbach99 Iceland beer festival) Hazy yellowish in color with a small white cap. Nose is all about wheat, coriander and light sulphuric water. Flavors are not so great with some wheat acidity and spices. Body on that one is just light. Carbonation is moderate to soft. Texture is on the thin side. Finale is watery, nothing stays on the tastebuds. Many thanks to Yan for bringing back this bottle from Iceland.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2011 On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A big, white head sits on top of a pale golden to yellow body. Orange and coriander dominates the aroma, with pale malt in the back. The flavor has mostly orange, but there’s also some bitterness and a pale malt foundation. Medium to thin on the palate, dry. Orange peel-style bitterness in the end. Refreshing but ordinary. Rating: 5-3-6-3-12-.2.9. 110527

Bottle. It’s an almost clear one, yellow in color and with a small, white head. Citrusy, wheaty nose with a touch of coriander and grass. Medium body, dry. Citrus, pale malts, some orange, and a touch of coriander. Some bitterness towards the end. Well, it’s quite nice one, drinks easily and all that, but not a very interesting beer in any way. 110917
