diabel (1590) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - AUG 17, 2010
Bottle This is a well balanced, quite complex beer. It has a clear amber body, with a lightly brown creamy head. The aroma is subtle and well balanced with a smoked touch (smoked bacon) as well as caramalts. The flavour is lightly bitter, lightly sweet, again malty and smokey.

Svesse (5875) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2010
(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of caramel, red berries, smoke, a touch of cinnamon and spicy hops. Malty taste with caramel, toasty and smoked malt, red berries and a spicy, citrussy bitterness leaning in the marmalade direction. Slightly above medium body, with a little alcohol bite in the finish. Smoke initially a bit subdued, but comes through as the beer warms up. Nice and well balanced beer.

haukur (1203) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - FEB 25, 2010
Smoky aroma, with hints of spices. Copper brown color, small head. A bit carbonated, with obvious clove and malt. Needs a bit more body to back it up, good bock nonetheless. Should be more smoked imo
