Bottle. High fluffy long lasting off-white head. Clear good looking brown body.. Sweet malty caramel aroma with just a hint of wood and smoke. Mildly smoked, relatively sweet, malt, caramel, fruit flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a dry and dusty short aftertaste rather than the expected one of smoke. Feels a bity thin bodied in spite of the relatively high alcohol percentage.

A Christmas beer in February - timing is essential! 330 ml. bottle. Deep amber colour with a slowly fading light brown head. Smoked aroma with ham, caramel malts, ginger and peppers. Taste is smoked and light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft carbonated with an a astringent finish with sweet and smoked notes. Nice bock-smoked fusion. Good beer to pair with rustic, traditional Scandinavian winter dishes.

Bottle, bought @ Voldby Křbmandsgaard.
Deep red pour with a medium, firm, off-white creamy mouthfeel. Aroma has smoke, light metallic, sweet caramel malts, light doughy. Medium carbonation, light and a bit creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good complex caramel, only soft smoke, mild oaky. Good malty dryness in the finish.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, amber liquid with medium tan head. Aroma is smoked with notes of charkuteries, caramel and bready/biscuity malt. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter with notes of smoke and sweet malt. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. One of the better beers to go with Swedish Christmas foods. The smoke plays well against the ham and the meatballs.

Botle from Systembolaget. Clear, beautiful reddish brown beer with brown head. Caramelly malty aroma has some smoke too. Taste is quite sweet malty with yet again some smoky tones. Some berry flavour detectable aswell. Oily mouthfeel. A bit one-dimensional brew and there could be more smoke in the mix.

Stiff head that lasts for a while. Flowery and smoky smell. The aroma is rather deep with lots of malt. Low carbonation. The flavor is a bit surprising - I had mine with a meal of ginger and honey grilled ribs, and the beer tasted about the same as the ribs, but with more hickory smoke and bitter aftertaste. A singular experience I’d like to do again (...?)
