courtesy of Florian Ruch - clear ruby-amber colour with a beige foam left but a bit chaotic; a fair hoppy aroma with notes of prune and caramel; a fair malt body, sweet and gently sticky; a decent bitterness which lasts long in an aftertaste of prune and flowers; pretty dry - very good one

Winey and fruity. Raisiny, even. And a little woody. Caramelly body, a little sweet. Taste a bit watery, lots of caramel. Kinda OK, but dead, keggy, and sweet. Dull.

Bottle @ Micro Bar. Dark reddish orange appearance with a small, disappearing tan head. Caramel/light toffee, light piney/earthy hoppy aroma. Toasty, a bit nutty, caramelized toffee, a bit cloying, cookie, earthy, herbal flavor. Not bad.

330mL at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan in Stockholm. The pour is a tea amber with a thinning, bubble head. Pretty weak sauce. Aroma is tawny port, old rust, cellar, meaty. Wow- very nice. Taste is sweet, malty, thin, basic, nothing really interesting, maybe some butter. Suddy, thin, watery palate. I thought for a second we were in for the best bitter in the world. What a let down :(
