TEJA (1214) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2010
At SBWF 2009. Small foam and a golden color. The aroma isn’t typical wheat beer like.It has some phenol and caramell. The taste is a mix of a belgian ale and a witt beer together with a big body.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2009) Cloudy amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit and sourish notes of wheat. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots and slightly tart wheat notes. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Some citrussy bitterness in the finish. A bit different, an Icelandic take on the style I suppose. Nice one.

With its sweet pooring impression the head drags you in and keeps you focused on that dark copperish tending to red head that leads thoughts to the firce fires underneath iceland. but the sweetness takes you over and then the alcohol consumes you bit by bit and you let it all go and surender yourself to the icelandic easter feeling and become one with the beer :=))) ... too much ??? nahh fog you .. this is the feeling ... dig into it and become enthralled 4ever !!!
