UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen (as Skælv). Clear golden, brief head. Light orangey nose. Medium sweet with clean crystal malt character. Fairly sweet with medium body. Salty bitterish finish. Rather simple with it’s too clean mouthfeel, but still has a fair bit of character. (5/3/6/2/10 = 2.6)
Re-rate draught at Stockholm Beer Festival (now as Skjálfti) The hops feels more pronounced here, and served less warm from keg some of the hardness disappears. I was told that this beer is brewed more in the California Common style than as a lager.

Draught at På Besök, Malmö
Hazy deep blond color. The aroma shows some malt, with light fruitness. The flavor has some malt, with a respectable body, some straws, but it’s quite anonymous. Strong ending bitterness, that hides a very light sourness; this edge is actually a bit disturbing. Simple.
