355ml can pours golden in color with a 2 finger white head that settles to a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a modest hop bitterness. Nothing special here, just another typical macro.

Cheap as all get-out. Barely there hops and malt with tons of water and corn. Yummy.

OGD is quite alright with me. It’s your standard American macro lager but a good one. Full flavored if a bit grainy with a crisp bite of carbonation--about all you can hope for given the style.

Khrist Almighty! I cannot freaking believe that I'm reviewing this pig sauce for my 100th rating!
About 15 or so years ago, when the "light" beer fad started to die down, the new thing in beer was the "Genuine draft" craze. Almost every brand did it. The only beer that did it right was Old Style Genuine Draft (the one in the cool black can. NOT classic draft in the gold can). Other than that, I'm not overly impressed with Genuine Draft style brew. This is no different. It has a marshmellow head that screams artificial chemicals, no hops or barley flavor, and zero after taste. It has a "light beer" taste to it, and is a little light on alcohol kick. It doesn't taste bad, it just doesn't really have any taste at all, good or bad. I paid $4.29 for a 12-pack at Pick-N-Save on 04-05-2004.
I'm drinking one right now. Keep in mind, I'm also eating hot(spicy)pickled carrot slices imported from Hong Kong (no lie), and I'd probably drink anything that was cold. This may have influenced me to rate this higher than it deserves.

The Can says this is brewed by Pabst with a Wisconsin Address. Don't know if that's different from the Texas Pabst, but anyway, here's the rating.
For a cheap beer this certainly isn't terrible. It's not great, but it is drinkable. Poured light yellow with very little head, but good carbonation. Not much lacing. Flavor was on the light side but pleasant. If you're in-between paychecks and need a cheap brew to get you through you may consider this one. The price is right; 5.59 for a 12 pack.
