3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
thanks Nelson for the share.
pours golden, white head.
aroma, thin hops, the malt was more present, light toasted and some orange peel.
flavors, profile is definitely more malty with subdued hops, get some tangerine, simcoe hops, touch of caramel, some cardboard.
Not bad, just a tad too heavy on the malts.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A world class golden tan head sits atop a mostly clear copper colored brew. The nose is pine, caramel, and a bit of cereal. It is not a robust aroma but is subtle and gentle. The flavor is two tiered with a quick bitter grapefruit bite immediately followed by pine and caramel. Just a hint of spice as the beer warms. Grapefruit settles in as the aftertaste and pretty much overwhelms my palate. Feel is thin.
