COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
O’Malley’s SunRye’s Ale is the perfect beer drinker’s summer brew. Not a watered down seasonal substitute, SunRye’s offers a complex combination of the ruddy malts and gives the smoothest finish yet. It’s about time summer had a real beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours an amber/brown with a small off white head. The aroma is some rye and some malt in the aroma. The palate holds some rye and kind of a lemon bitterness like they added lemon juice to it. Not a bad summer beer for those that like wheat beers with lemon in it. Would not agree with the "perfect beer drinker’s summer brew" line though.

A bright golden ale, crisp and dry without being bitter, with hints of citrus, spicy rye, caramel, and wood.

The beer pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of rye and grain. The flavor is similar. I get some orange and biscuit notes, as well as some spice from the rye. Low bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Clear golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some decent rye, but also a little skunk. It has a light, thin body with flat carbonation. The taste has some mild bitterness and a somewhat dry finish.

Clear and tan with a one finger white head and fair lace, some rising bubbles. Smell is grainy and lightly sweet, nothing particularly special. Taste is grainy with grassy and sweet notes. Feels pretty thin and could use a bit more carbonation. Overall I’m not too impressed with this one.

12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet, a bit sugary and some light fruitiness a touch sharp. Flavor starts basic, bland sugar and honey sweetness with a touch of fruit and almost no spice. Light body and a crisp carbonation. Bleh

12oz bottle. Clear amber pour - aromas of grain, rye, and stewed tomato. Sunflower seed, toasted grain, rye flavors. Too thin and lacking substance.

(12oz bottle thanks to Dixonian) clear amber, sparse ring of white bubbles. Nose of stewed tomatoes, diacetyl, cracker and butter. Taste of stewed tomatoes, umami, cracker, old grain. Prickly carbonation and a very old grainy linger.
