COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The quintessential Ueberseasonal. Everybody gets excited when the leaves change color and the nights get cooler. Not because it’s fall...the real reason is that they know Mecktoberfest is coming.

A good Octoberfest, but average by most standards. Very sessionable. A good beer to share with friends.

A golden Marzen with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with light German grassy hops. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light nutty note, pleasant, if a bit ordinary. On tap at brewery.

Tap @ Carolina Beer Co. Light amber with a cream white head. Attractive. Nose is a bit off-putting. Unwashed old dish towel with a bit of candy corn and caramel-dipped apples. Bread. Taste is more palatable. Sweet bread, sugar. Mellow straw dryness on the finish. Light body, soft carb. OK.

Draft at the Charlotte airport. Yay business travel. Poured a medium to light amber orange, slight head. Aroma slight of toasted malt. Flavor matched - balancing bitterness, appropriate lack of hop flavor. Actually very clean and nicely done, very much to style. Good job guys.

On tap at Pure Pizza. Pours a copper color with white head. Malty sweet, slight grain aromas. Grainy, earthy, malty flavors. Pretty straight forward beer

Pours clear and slightly dark golden color, very thin head. Nice fresh sweet aroma of bubblegum and berry. Slight metallic aftertaste, medium bodied, fairly flat mouthfeel, slight bitterness. Below average.

Honestly, I drink this like water when it comes out. Exceptionally well balanced, not an overly complex malt profile but perfectly delicious. Golden/light amber color, it doesn’t hurt that I’ve never had this anything but super fresh. It has become one of my favorites, if not my favorite, Ofest.

Amber color, light aroma with good carbonation. Slight malty flavor, clean but not that much going on.

Draft. Backlog from Nov 2012. Light amber in the glass with an off-white head. Toasted malt aroma and flavor with a backing of spice. Light to medium body and a toasted malt aftertaste.

Pint at CLT airport. Clear topaz with a small ring of bubbles. Nose is at first sour, then lightly toasted grain and caramel. Taste is sweet toasted grain and just a touch of dry grass and sour apple. Light body is well balanced and has light carbonation.
