Leighton (10534) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2014
Draft at Olde Mecklenburg - Charlotte. Pours clear yellow with a white foam head. Nice crispy cereal character with white bread, straw and hints of vanilla creme. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, refreshing, with light bitter straw, mild doughy pale malts. Delicious little pils.

SirADNielsen (8949) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 6, 2014
On tap @ OMB. Pours a touch hazy golden appearance with a white head. Lot of Pils malt. Dry. Herbal. Cracker. Lightly to moderately spicy hops. Some lemon in the flavor. Grassy and a touch chewy. Mostly dry. Herbal / earthy hops on the finish. I’m not getting much of any residual sugar. Quite dry. Solid.

3fourths (7884) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 16, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 Draft at GABF 2013. A too-sweet, under-hopped Americanized Pilsner with syrupy and chewy malt. High sugar plus low acid = flabby, limp body. Has not glaring flaws, only wildly out of balance, under-attenuated and cloying, and suffering from a thin body, especially in the finish.

Bottle in Asheville, February 2014: pretty much the same.

650l bottle. Bottled 11.04. 11. It pours a beautiful clear gold with a big white head. It really smells like it came from Germany. It has a bit extra yeast and American water smell but other than that it is pretty close. The hops are done right. It is a nice Bavarian-styled brew. Perhaps slightly hardier in maltiness than the average but with a beautiful noble hop flavor. The sweetness definitely gets more noticeable as it goes, but still a good one. A true German styled pilsener.

TURDFERGUSON (3945) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - DEC 1, 2012
22oz bottle from beer study. Bottled 11.16.12. Pours a fairly clear yellow straw color with light carbonation and minimal white lace. Nose is toast, biscuit, cereal, light grass, plastics, diacetyl, grainy. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly sweet--some cereal and light vegetal notes, two day old mowed grass, and ends sweet with spoiled veggies and oaky Granny Smith apples. Diacetyl comes on heavier as it warms and breathes a bit. Too bad.

Bomber from Ross. Nose is a little grassy hops and caramel sweetness. Clear yellow with a big pale yellow head. Flavor is very light grassy bitterness with some moderate sweetness and caramel. Finishes lightly bitter. Drinkable session beer at 4%ABV.
