Beerenberger (1430) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2012
APPEARANCE: Yellow with a rapidly depleting white head and some lacing observed. AROMA: I smell cereal. TASTE: To me, there is a strong cereal quality to the taste and it carries over in the aftertaste. MOUTHFEEL: Medium OVERALL: I liked this taste - not exactly what I expected from a Pils but good anyway. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

$4 bomber from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville. Pours light bright, ever-so-slightly hazy gold with a decent white head and a bit of lacing. Nose is pilsner hops, grassy and a bit grainy/corny. Taste adds a bit of weird plastic but mostly a solid light beer.

Looks great. Pale color with great carbonation, long lasting head. Tastes spicy with a little bit of banana. Light and crisp.

Bottle, bought from Bruisin Ales in Asheville. Pours a pale golden with a voluminous white head, like whipped cream that linger and lingers. Aroma is grainy and bready with a touch of woody/earth hops (Hersbrucker or Spalt?). Taste is gry grainy malts, some sweetness in the background and a nice tang of hoppiness. Medium light in the body, clean, long dry finish. Nice beer.

Had this less than two weeks old according to the hand written date on the bottle. Very cool.. Bottle from Brawleys in Charlotte. Thanks to OSCF for sharing. Lively gold pour frothy white head and drippy lace. Grassy hops and corn on the nose. Corn bomb flavor with light signs of oxidation which I found strange given the freshness factor.

Served on draft at the brewpub, 4/6/11. Pours a clear golden color with a huge creamy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bready malts, almost doughy with grassy hops. The taste is sweet bready malts and very faint grassy notes. Medium bodied.

3fourths (7982) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 16, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 7, 2014 Draft at GABF 2013. A too-sweet, under-hopped Americanized Pilsner with syrupy and chewy malt. High sugar plus low acid = flabby, limp body. Has not glaring flaws, only wildly out of balance, under-attenuated and cloying, and suffering from a thin body, especially in the finish.

Bottle in Asheville, February 2014: pretty much the same.
