$4 bomber from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville. Pours light bright, ever-so-slightly hazy gold with a decent white head and a bit of lacing. Nose is pilsner hops, grassy and a bit grainy/corny. Taste adds a bit of weird plastic but mostly a solid light beer.

Serving: Draft at Texacali Taco & Tequila Bar. It pours a solid yellow color with a small white head. The nose has a whiff of diacetyl and grain. The flavor is butter, metal, grain, and a hint of grass. Thin bodied with higher carbonation. Reminds me of a cream ale and a bad one at that.

On tap at Mecktoberfest 2014. Clear, yellow. Aroma is pungent lager yeast with spicy grasses and herbal strong noble hops. Taste was overly yeasty and hoppy. Harsh on the palate. Overall, I was unimpressed.

A perfect pile, crisp and grassy with a hop forward character backed with by a solid cracker malt back on. Crystal clear yellow with a 2 finger white head. Light lacing.

Draft at Olde Mecklenburg - Charlotte. Pours clear yellow with a white foam head. Nice crispy cereal character with white bread, straw and hints of vanilla creme. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish, refreshing, with light bitter straw, mild doughy pale malts. Delicious little pils.

On tap @ OMB. Pours a touch hazy golden appearance with a white head. Lot of Pils malt. Dry. Herbal. Cracker. Lightly to moderately spicy hops. Some lemon in the flavor. Grassy and a touch chewy. Mostly dry. Herbal / earthy hops on the finish. I’m not getting much of any residual sugar. Quite dry. Solid.

On draft from the Carolina Beer Company in the Charlotte airport. Pours a nice pale gold with minimal white lacing that retains well. Nose is not assertive, but in a bit stuffed up. Taste is grassy hops, a little bready malts. Decent pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
