3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malt bomb with a slight hoppy finish. They say it is gluten free and if it is, it is one of the better gluten free beers. Slightly Scottish and piney. Had out of a bottle at home.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is pine, citrus/fruit and a hint of odd paint/funk. The flavor is citrus, fruit, biscuit malts and a mix of bitter and very slightly off in the finish.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle @ home, picked up at Boulder Liquor Mart. Clear, light yellow appearance with a white head. Twangy, lemon, guava, herbal, grassy nose. Light body. Moderate bitterness. Low sweetness. Tangy and tart. Bready, dull, lifeless flavor with just a little spice. Not as good as some of the other Omission releases.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Hazy medium golden in color. Very bready nose with virtually no hoppiness. Dry hoppy flavors with a bit of an earthy or bready background. Pretty decent for a gluten free brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear light gold body with a one finger fizzy white head that actually had pretty decent retention. The nose is much better than I expected as well, there’s a light sweetness under the hops, but there’s quite a nice hop presence to this. Bright and citrusy, rather fresh smelling. The flavor has a fair amount of hops and bitterness as well, and there’s really not much sweetness to this at all. This is by far the best gluten free beer that I’ve had to date. I always wondered why they never made a gluten free beer that was loaded with hops to cover up the sweetness. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation and a crisp finish. Pretty good stuff.
