3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours typical IPA color, pretty low aroma, average head that doesnít stick around long. Flavor is basic bitter with a significant malt backbone. I find the hop profile to be too simple, and a bit on the harsh side. Finishes with a long linger bitterness, fairly resinous, and still too much for my palate. You have to like them bitter to like this. Not a fan, but itís more than decent for a GF IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up some mild sweet sugary malt notes that roll into a bit of mango and citrus and spicy hops. The taste has a thin layer of juicy citrus to slightly mango fruitiness that slides quickly into a moderate degree of spicy hoppiness that delivers some resiny bitterness as well as hop flavor. So this is how you make a gluten free beer; cover up the unpleasant fermentables with a pleasing degree of hops. Works for me. Not bad.

Straight from the bottle. Good medium body thatís not too bready or heavy. Clean, citrusy hop flavor with notes of grapefruit and lemon and a bit of spice. Delicious gluten free beer and the best readily available gluten free beer Iíve tried yet.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Live rate at home. Bottle from Whole Foods Columbus Circle, NYC. Pours brilliant bronze-gold with a tight, persistent white foam. Sweet mandarin, lemon zest and biscuit aroma with mineral suggestions. Taste similarly attractive with crisp soapy pine, mandarin and floral hop over a clean and lingering cashew, chaff and custard cream finish right. Flavour-wise approaching the sessi...English GA ballpark, actually. Slick honeyed mouthfeel, correct carbonation; lively but stopping short of fizz. These Widmer boys know how to put an IPA together. Excellent; by a long, long way the best gluten free beer Iíve tasted.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thank you so much for a gluten-free beer that actually tastes like a real beer. I realized recently that I have slight issues with gluten, so if I can, I typically get something from Omission - this is a pretty decent IPA - better than the omission pale ale.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
HAzy yellow pour, no head. Light hops in the nose. Bitter. Middle is grain and piney hops. Finish is different due to grain choice, but not too bad.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Gold pour with minimal white head. Piney hops and florals in the nose. I wouldn;t call this one great, but the hops are assertive and you could do worse.
