Omission IPA is a bright, hop forward Northwest Style IPA produced in the spirit of the original IPAs shipped from the UK to India in the late 1800’s. The heavy-handed use of Cascade and Summit hops give it notable pine, citrus, and grapefruit aromas and flavors. The bitterness is what you would expect of a NW IPA but this beer is balanced and smooth due to the perfect level of malt sweetness. The finish is crisp, clean, and refreshing – it’s a true IPA lover’s IPA.

Low retention and decent lacing. Smells of slight hops and sweet malt. Tastes kind of stale-like with some malt and a little hop background. Don't like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pine taste and bitter right off the bat. Stays consistent throughout which is nice. Truely GF? On the bottle it says "the gluten content of this product cannot be verified and this product may contain gluten". This is likely the secret why it’s such a tasty GF beer hehe

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook. Pours gold color with a white head. Nose is citrus and pine. Medium body. Very flavorful with nice tasty hops Great bitter finish. Hard to believe this is a gluten free beer,

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This beer is clear honey gold with a nice soapy white head. Citrus and floral hop aromas with caramel makes for a nice and classic nose. The flavor is definitely more hop forward than the aroma. Bitterness is surprisingly big. Citrus and floral hops. Just a little tropical with the grapefruit and other citrus. Malts are not so much caramel as they are pale. They remain in the background and are a bit muddled. This was a good IPA, but not a great one. However, as a gluten free beer it was outstanding. Hops were allowed free reign and they did flourish.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose is lighter than I had hoped, but has some grassy and fruity elements to it. Taste is remarkably not awful - slightly bitter with a good crisp freshness to it.

Bottle with Dan L. when he stopped over yesterday. Pours a hazy orange with white head. Decent retention. Aroma is mild hop bitter, grain. Flavor is mildly hoppy, mild pine, mild sweet, bitter with a strong resin finish. One of Omissions better beers as well as one of the better GF beers. Moderate carbonation, light body.

12 oz bottle from Niagara Falls Wegmans. Pours a hazy golden colour with moderate-sized white head with decent retention. Aroma has some relatively mellow pine and citrus notes with a bit of different graininess. Flavour is a little more assertive with solid citrus hoppiness, a little pine resin, some sweet sort of graininess and a little caramel. Average body. Pretty impressive for a gluten free beer, but a little underwhelming for an IPA.

Bottle at home from mchughs. Pours marmalade orange. Thin white head. Citrus pine nose. Malt background is there, biscuit sweet with resinous pine finish. A little medicinal. Okay
