COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Omission IPA is a bright, hop forward Northwest Style IPA produced in the spirit of the original IPAs shipped from the UK to India in the late 1800ís. The heavy-handed use of Cascade and Summit hops give it notable pine, citrus, and grapefruit aromas and flavors. The bitterness is what you would expect of a NW IPA but this beer is balanced and smooth due to the perfect level of malt sweetness. The finish is crisp, clean, and refreshing Ė itís a true IPA loverís IPA.

Low retention and decent lacing. Smells of slight hops and sweet malt. Tastes kind of stale-like with some malt and a little hop background. Don't like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle purchased at Trader Joes. hop. Hazy orange / amber color with thin head in the pint glass. Aroma is malt heavy with grain and a light note of pine.

No surprise here. Toasted grain, light grapefruit through the center with a touch of pine in the backend. Pine lingers for a short time and vanishes. Lots of sweetness with weak bitterness. Body is the light side of medium. Overall not bad for the low price I would prefer the pale ale over this if I needed to be gluten free.

Bottle. Bbotmc. Hazy amber white ring. Spicy hoppiness some dried onion and chilled honey aroma, hoppy, fairly bitter taste with a little biscuit. Medium body, rather carbonated and a little dry finish. Iíd never believe itís gluten free.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Almost clear golden color with a decent white head. Citrus aroma, with faint pine and tropical notes and some flowers. Pleasant grainy flavors, some citrus peel, faint soapy notes, med-hi bitterness, light maltiness. Dry, medium bodied, long bitter finish - best gluten-free beer iíve had so far. Cool.

Hazy gold with a foamy head. Aroma or citrus and spice. Taste citrusy, spicy, and metallic. Not particularly bitter for an IPA. Slight veggie taste on palate. Decent.

Aroma of starchy biscuits and grapefruit rind. Hazy yellow-orange. Rather bitter overall, some almost salty malt sweetness. Itís crisp and seems dryer than it really is. Very similar to the so called East Coast paradigm that is a somewhat older IPA style, so it wonít knock you down.

Somewhat hazy golden brew that smells of grapefruit that has maybe gone rotten. There is something off about the aroma to me. The flavor is that of grapefruit and pine but there is a distinct taste that is not right. Never have eaten mold before but have smelled it and odd taste makes me think of that mold. Seeing others rate this one as being a decent IPA but from the six pack I got it is not good at all. Think this one will be going down the sink. ** Rating update - looked for a date on the bottle, has Jun 25 13 on it. So if that is a born date then this beer is almost a year old and if it is a best before date then this beer is way too old to be drank. So I am thinking age has taken its toll on this six pack and my review may not be fair for it. Will check dates if I see it in the store again and maybe try a fresher batch to re-review it.

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma, citric and floral, slightly stale, with mild graininess. Sweetish flavor with a bit of graininess and bitter hops, slightly stale. Medium-bodied. Decent but not fresh enough.

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Orange and clear appearance with a sticky white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, tropical notes, resinous hops, grass, toasted grains and light malts. Similar flavor, crisp with medium bitterness, mild sweetness and light herbs/spices. Medium body with an astringent finish, somewhat unpleasant. Gluten free? Coulda fooled me.
