Aroma: Grain and molasses Appearance: Very pale yellow, pristine white head Taste: A decent lager with notes of molasses and toffee Palate: Notably thin in all reguards Overall: I got this in a random pack of six and to be honest expected more of Widmer Brothers, finally when i came here I found out why it is Gluten Free! While the beer is not as good as i would like that is a leviathan of a handicap and in regards to that this get a fair deal of respect.

12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with an average, short lived, white head. Weak aroma of pale malt and grain. Sweet malt flavour with corn, grass, a hint of caramel and a dry, metallic finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Most gluten free beers have a strange flavour. This one doesn’t. If you’re a celiac, I highly recommend this beer. If you’re not it’s quite average but refreshing and thirst quenching.

Hay and peanut hull. Hazy golden, medium head. Grass, lemon on the edges, peanut hulls. Light body easy carbonation. Easily quaffable and refreshing, flavorful.

As advertised very clean, crisp and refreshing. I place it high in the ranks of gluten free offerings.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. It's a lager. Not a lot more to say, which can be a good thing when you talk about a lager ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft sample at Cherry Blossom Beer & Wine fest a week ago, darker golden color with white head. Aroma notes of almost honey-like pale malt sweetness and faint citrus. Taste is pretty much the aroma with some grainy sweetness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with clean finish. Certainly a better than average lager by macro standards.

Clear golden color with no head. Sweet and bland with almost no hop influence.

Moderate body. Very low bitterness. I don’t drink a lot of lagers. This is tasty.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a moderate off white head on there. Nose has some dark and heavy corn elements with little else to it. Taste is slightly sweet but has a bit of a stale finish. Bleh.

12 oz bottle poured. Pours a soft cloudy yellow color with a patchy fizz head. Yay for first gluten free rating! (not counting ciders) This beer surprised the hell out of me. I’ve had gluten free beers before, and i think.. I didn’t enjoy them. I’m not going to call this beer great, but the amount of flavor came as a big surprise. A bit of a lemon fruitiness to the aroma. Flavor is sweet, with a slight spice and hop finish. This gluten free lager has more body and flavor than most pale lagers I’ve ever had. As a beer, this is average. As a gluten free beer, this is awesome. Quite impressed here.
