Not as good as the Omission pale ale, but then, why would you pick a plain lager over an APA in any event? Yellow, clear, light flavor. For what it does, itís an accomplishment--drinkable gluten free beer. Not offensive. (bottle at the Ale Jail backyard beer festival, 2012)

Crystal clear golden bier. Pours with a pure white head. The aroma is like a light pilsner, grassy and balanced with light malt notes and bitter hops. The flavor has the same characteristics but is comes on a little stronger than the aroma would have you initially think. Due to this, the body seems a little heavy for the appearance. I canít tell its gluten free, and its a decent drink falling somewhere between a premium lager and a czech pilsner.

12 oz. bottle. Bright golden pour with white styrofoam head. Aroma of fruit, mild yeast, some strong grainy notes. Flavor is still grainy with a touch of fruit. Medium yeasty crispness. Itís not terrible, like most gluten free beers are. Iím just concerned because I think it caused some extreme digestive systems distress for me earlier this morning. Iíll report back with my findings. But, I guess if you had to go gluten free you could do worse.

Palme (3603) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2014
0.33l bottle. The label says Dec 12, 2013. Not sure if thatís a good thing or a really bad thing. Anyhow, as crystal clear as they get in the glass this, pale golden color and only a tiny filmy white lager head. Smells grainy and corn sweet. Pale malts - no real surprises or interesting thing on the nose. Smells like a pilsner. Not shockingly it tastes like one as well. Itís somewhat sweet this. Almost caramel sweet. More corn and grains in the taste as well. Pretty dull stuff really, but drinkable and not directly bad tasting. 05.03.2014

35cl bottle. Pours very pale yellow with a minimal white head. Mild malty aroma with some hoppy and floral notes, hints of citrus, fruits and grass. Moderate sweet with a lightly grainy and hoppy flavour and a quite nice and balanced bitterness. Certainly one of the best gluten free lagers I have tried. Fairly lightbodied and very easy to drink, not so exciting, but quite ok.

alexanderj (3407) - Branson, Missouri, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle; clear dull gold with a medium white head. Aroma of grain and corn. Flavor was crisp and mild. Not much sweetness or normal adjunct type flavor from a premium lager. Wouldnít really know its gluten free. A mindless, but ok beer

mile (3404) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 25, 2013
Bottle. Light amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light tropical fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - grainy and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness . Finish is short to average, malty - grainy and sweetish, light caramel and light fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness. Grainy and sweetish lager - lacks character (and taste/flavor).

Bottle. Light lemony malt aroma. Slightly hazed yellow with a small white head. Sour lemony malt and grass flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. One of the better gluten free beers Iíve tried.

12oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Yellow pour with a thin white head and very little retention. Aroma is faint yeast and lager-iness. Tastes are grain, lemon, floral and orange. Not a lot going on, but tasty enough.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass at Cactus Jacks. Pale, light golden and clear appearanc. Small white head, light lacing and active carbonation. Mild aroma of pale malts, toasted grains and light citrusy hops. Similar flavor, grainy and lightly bitter. Crisp, clean and pretty smooth with a light to medium body. Not bad, solid lager.
