12oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Yellow pour with a thin white head and very little retention. Aroma is faint yeast and lager-iness. Tastes are grain, lemon, floral and orange. Not a lot going on, but tasty enough.

12 oz bottle dated (bottled on) Feb. 2014 served in a lager glass. Has the appearance of a light lager. The aroma is pleasant, mainly bready grains, and surprisingly strong, The flavor does not keep up, being weaker and less appealing.

Palme (4065) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2014
0.33l bottle. The label says Dec 12, 2013. Not sure if thatís a good thing or a really bad thing. Anyhow, as crystal clear as they get in the glass this, pale golden color and only a tiny filmy white lager head. Smells grainy and corn sweet. Pale malts - no real surprises or interesting thing on the nose. Smells like a pilsner. Not shockingly it tastes like one as well. Itís somewhat sweet this. Almost caramel sweet. More corn and grains in the taste as well. Pretty dull stuff really, but drinkable and not directly bad tasting. 05.03.2014

Not as good as the Omission pale ale, but then, why would you pick a plain lager over an APA in any event? Yellow, clear, light flavor. For what it does, itís an accomplishment--drinkable gluten free beer. Not offensive. (bottle at the Ale Jail backyard beer festival, 2012)

Hazy lemonade pour with decent white head. Aroma is a little citrus hop lightness with some grassy/wheaty notes. Flavor has a decent grassy bitterness, but not too much. Crisp and pretty refreshing. Almost had some wheat ale qualities. Honestly not that bad. I donít think I would have even picked it out as gluten free if I didnít already know.

12 oz. bottle. Bright golden pour with white styrofoam head. Aroma of fruit, mild yeast, some strong grainy notes. Flavor is still grainy with a touch of fruit. Medium yeasty crispness. Itís not terrible, like most gluten free beers are. Iím just concerned because I think it caused some extreme digestive systems distress for me earlier this morning. Iíll report back with my findings. But, I guess if you had to go gluten free you could do worse.

bottle. crystal clear pale gold with a medium sized, fluffy white head. smells like pale malt with a tangy hop note like sterling or saaz. the flavor has a light limey tang from the hops with a mild malt flavor. no sweetness. crackery. just like the pale ale, its a very solid gluten free effort.

This doesnít taste like gluten free beer but it doesnít taste like good beer either. Itís cloudy yellow w/ a small foamy white head. This kind of reminds me of a bitter Euro pale lager w/ a more American type hop character. It is kinda sweet and heave but still w/in a drinkable realm so not terrible. Itís got some pretty solid bready malt character in the nose and a nice resinous bitterness to finish things out. I will probably not drink this again unless some sort of gluten sensitivity befalls me but, hey, this isnít a horrible choice if it does.
