Bottle from Blue Dog. Pours canary with 2-finger well-retained white head. Nose is Saaz hops, lager yeast, pale malt. This one smells good. Tastes pale malty, somewhat tart, with a bold hop crispness at the finish. This one is one of the top 3 gluten free beers I have ever quaffed, and a very good lager in its own right.

The aroma is sweet and malty with a detectable hopping. The appearance is hazy gold with a small head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter malty finish. The palate is average. Overall about as good of a gluten free lager as you will find.

(tasting at Des Peres Schnucks) gold with white head. Aroma of light malt, hint of floral hops. Flavor is similar. A nice option for those who can’t ingest gluten.

This beer is a crystal clear pale yellow color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter floral hops, biscuit malt and grass. The finish is short and lightly hoppy. Run of the mill overall.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy with a light sweetness and a relatively clean finish. Nice enough.

12 oz single from Roths Sunnyslope Market in Salem. $1.67 Actually quite nice looking for a lager golden yellow with a good sized bubbly white head. Fine honeyish, grassy aromas. OK Clean slightly grassy hop, semi sweet taste, perfectly reasonable. Mouthfeel is strange it starts OK but trails off to a wateriness..with a strange bitterness. Overall though an OK lager and a good gluten free.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a decent one inch white head that lasts. Taste is of malt, grass, grain, some dust and some sweet honey. Similar, grassy aroma. Has a full body with a clean finish. I was surprised that this is gluten free and only has 4.6% abv. A great beer, a good thirst quencher and one I wouldn’t mind picking up again.

Clean and pale straw yellow with one finger of frothy white head. Nose is meh, wet bread and grassy hops with a lightly zesty quality. Raw bread dough and wet hay in the flavor. Dry and light bodied.

Pours pale yellow, good head. Appears like most domestic pale lagers.. Nose is a bit skunky, lemon, earthy, and believe it or not a hint of coffee. Actually has some good flavors. Lemon, wheat, and a sweet honey-citrus on the end. -Fish!

Fore what is essentially a light beer in all but name, it’s not bad. There’s a bit of a mealy aftertaste but it goes down crisp and refreshing without being overly watery. Better straight from a cold bottle, because, really, there’s nothing you want to see or smell about it.
