Pours a very rich golden color with not too much head. Taste is fairly bland but would be good on a summer day. Remember this is a gluten free beer. That has to be kept in mind. If it were a choice between this and no beer at all, this would be my choice any day.

12 oz. bottle. Bright golden pour with white styrofoam head. Aroma of fruit, mild yeast, some strong grainy notes. Flavor is still grainy with a touch of fruit. Medium yeasty crispness. Itís not terrible, like most gluten free beers are. Iím just concerned because I think it caused some extreme digestive systems distress for me earlier this morning. Iíll report back with my findings. But, I guess if you had to go gluten free you could do worse.

Bottle. Gold bodied with a short, fading white head. Aroma is rather hoppy and pleasant with soft grain-like notes and floral notes. Taste is also hoppy with slightly fruity undertones, grain-like notes and hints of biscuit and bread dough. Light lemony notes as well. Body is light-medium with a mild, bubbly carbonation. Ends with more floral and grassy hops, sweet malt-like flavors, soft fruit and faint biscuit.

The beer is a clear golden color with a white head. Some citrus peel notes and a touch of floral hops. A mild breadiness with a bit of cracker aroma. Maybe a bit of grass on the back end. The flavor is somewhat bland and has a touch of paper to it. Some light grain sweetness. There is a subtle but noticeable hop presence, mostly floral in nature but hints of grass and citrus peel are also there.

Poured into a pint glass. Clear, golden color with two fingers of head. Faint smell of dry grain. Mild bitter taste, slightly metallic, watery overall. Crisp and light body, low to moderate carbonation. For a light, gluten-free lager I applaud the result. By all appearances it is a superior product to most other light lagers, but it still doesnít make me want another one.

hotstuff (4069) - Indiana, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Rated on 7-23-2013. This bottled beer has a small fizzy white head with a short retention span, no lacing, transparent body, fizzy carbonation, and a bright yellow hue. The Aroma is malt, citrus, sweet, and a little lemony. The Taste is sweet, some malt, citrus, and lightly grassy. The Palate is tingly and semi-dry. This is a light-medium bodied beer. Overall, this beer is easy to drink and if you are wondering what a gluten-free beer taste like, try this one.

35cl bottle. Pours very pale yellow with a minimal white head. Mild malty aroma with some hoppy and floral notes, hints of citrus, fruits and grass. Moderate sweet with a lightly grainy and hoppy flavour and a quite nice and balanced bitterness. Certainly one of the best gluten free lagers I have tried. Fairly lightbodied and very easy to drink, not so exciting, but quite ok.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin white head that quickly dissipates into lacing. Smells doughy and a little skunky. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Alright for a gluten-free lager.

Bottle @ Uncle Sams, Aarhus. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, a hint of banana and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 011113
