3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 33 cl. Clear golden with a decent white head. Fruity hoppy and smooth caramely nose. Flavor is toasted and caramel medium sweet malty with notes of red berries, grapefruity hops, citrus. Medium bitter finish. High drinkabillity. If I had problems with gluten, I’d drink this one on a hot summers day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Backlog US, 12oz bottle from ABC drinks somewhere in FL. 22/09/12. Crystal malty, almost lager-like pale ale, easy drinking but a bit bland, Cascade remains more of an airy perfume than an aroma or taste. Drinkable enough on the road...

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Orangish amber in color with a thick, frothy, light-tan head. Aroma is pretty beige, just crystal malt and candied orange in a not-so-harmonious union. Flavor is actually, ya know, unterrible. Sure, it tastes like carbonated wort but that’s not so bad. Sweet candied citrus hops round it out a bit, but this is just pure malt sugar. Carbonation is pleasantly airy. Weird beer, not even close to a pale ale, but surprisingly drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours rich amber color with white, quickly diminishing, head. Really no lacing to speak of. Aromas are muted but clean. Pine, caramel, and floral notes primarily. Taste is much of the same with a little bit of a watery feel to it. Finish is dry with noticeable yeasty esters.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I’m not sue, but this is probably my favorite Gluten Free beer. That’s note really saying much, most gluten free beers are pretty dire. This seems like a pretty typical American Pale, with a good mix of caramel, citrus, and pine in both the aroma and flavor. Not bad.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Kinda tart aroma that feels like it’s being held back or blanketed. Dark amber color with shiny white head. Tastes a little zingy but really toned down. My first gluten free beer. It’s alright. I gotta try more to compare.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle. I am not that familar with this brewer. I could not find on the bottle that it was gluten free. I generally do not seek them out. This ale poured a hazy amber color with a white head and modest lacing. The only aroma I could detect was some resin and floral notes. There is some citrus in the taste but everything is muted. I realize gluten free ales and beers serve a limited market and I am glad it is there. This ale has light to medium body with soft carbonation. The finish ended with some sweeetness and not the bitter taste of most APA.
