Bottle. It’s a lightly hazy, dark golden beer with a small, light beige head. The aroma has lots of orange marmalade, some pine cones and a touch of sugar. The flavor is less on the orange marmalade side, with the same level of pine cones, some pale malts, and a touch of bitterness. Could easily take more bitterness this one, all the way. Medium to full body with a nice carbonation level. Lasting orange finish. Nothing impressive going on here, but considering it’s gluten free I’m almost impressed. 140111

Kopparfärgad med medium stort ljust skum som stannar kvar! Ganska fruktig i doft och smak men lite maltig i smaken! Bra öl!

I see that they were going for something different with this one. Much better than expected. Decent hop nose. Rather fruity pale ale. Would try again, but not a go to beer.

Bottled 27APR12 Intrigued by their attempt, apparently a new process allows for a more authentic profile. Pours orange amber with an etched surface. Nice nose up front, crisp and hoppy with apple and grapefruit. Some tea and malty undertones. Flavor is malty (not expected) and sweet with herbal and bitter hop components. I’m down with the flavor here, really approachable! Medium bodied with hi carb and a semi dry finish. Great quality, surprised, gonna have to try the lager. I’m happy to see a gluten free option sans shitty flavor. Well considered and thoughtfully crafted. I expect this to be a limited addition to the line in lieu of the gluten free craze sweeping the US right now, but it’s a welcome one in my opinion. A great option for the celiac’s right here folks.
