2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark Amber appearance. Weak Aroma. There is a mild hop bite and a little tanginess to the beer, but it is very short-lived with no aftertaste.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz bottle. Small off-white head atop lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, some bread. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some lemon, honey. Light-medium body. The good news is that the beer’s gluten-free aspect isn’t obvious. The bad news is that the beer isn’t that good.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Very weak in aroma, flavor, taste. Pale amber pour with soft head. Not much aroma or my nose is fried. Taste sows some mild bitterness but not much standout flavor.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle courtesy of Fratto. Golden color with a thick white head. Weak aroma, not a whole lot of flavor. Maybe they should have left the glute-in.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a clear amber orange color with a foamy head. Aroma is weak. Dry notes. Some buttery notes. Flavor is dry grains, light in flavor with maybe a touch of hoppy bitterness. Meh.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
For a light crisp ale, this one is ok. The hops are muted in regards to both flavor and smell. Better than Bud/Miller/Coors but i would take a middle of the line beer from companies like Sam Adams. For GLUTEN FREE- it is better than Bards

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: DEC 24, 2012 Nice glowing copper color with short head, quickly gone ,slight lacing.
Mild hop nose ripe fruit and ??? and some sweet carmel notes.Slight nutty. Fairly mild aroma but yet nice. Maybe a slight bit of yeast/yeast ester.
Taste is pretty good, its pretty hoppy,slickish-smooth, some toast/breadiness, mostlycaramel-with light nutty notes. Medium fullish body. Almost like an amber kind of. Pretty malty for a pale ale. Some sweet stickyness in finish, well balanced by good hop flavor and a smooth and mellow kind of peppery/pine bittering. Clean finish. A little on the mild side of bittering in the average pale ale but very sessionable. Pretty ok with having 5 more of these to randomly have but wouldnt really go out and get another 6er of it that soon. Very good for a minimal gluten beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel upfront turning to flowery marshmallow before the mild earthy bitter abrupt finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours like the typical American Pale Ale, moderately amber-colored, a bit hazy. I don’t discern much aroma at all. This drinks with a very even keeled character, neither offensive nor noteworthy. Considering this is gluten-free, it comes across quite nice. (#4860, 12/16/2012)
