Pours a light amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of earth tones and almost no hops. Flavor is the same. Only the earth tones and not much else.

Normally glutton free beers suck. But this isnít half bad. Darker amber pour, with creamy whiteish head. Malty, bready nose. Ample hoppiness. Higher alcohol content not detected. Bottle @ Chillies Chicago OíHare airport.

Pours a honey gold color. Thick and creamy head. Nice lacing. Itís a good start to a mysterious beer.

Smells like an IPA. In fact, it may even smell more like a brown ale. It smells great. I smell caramel and/or toffee. I also smell some hops.

Tastes pretty good. Better than a lot of beers Iíve had. Tastes like an IPA but thereís a lightness to it, but itís also sort of rich in flavor. Iím supposed to smell the floral, but I taste it more so. I taste some pine, and some caramel.

Mouthfeel is sort of weird. While it tastes good and all, itís just not quite as heavy as an IPA. Itís somewhat watery. Itís very dry, and it finishes bitter. Itís true to an IPA in the finish, but thereís just something about it.

Overall, Iím extremely surprised by this. I was expecting a whole lot less. Itís actually delicious. I would certainly buy this again. If itís gluten-free youíre looking for, this would be amazing!! I still consider this amazing. At 5.8% itís pretty good for an IPA, and pretty drinkable. Try it!!

Pours a perfect tea hue into the glass, with a fine, steady eggshell head that leaves window-wash lacing. Biscuits, caramel and a hint of citrus to the nose. Flavors of cereal and Cascade hops leave the mouthfeel a bit hollow, with a twinge of citrus every now and again. Hop-forward, yes, but missing some of the malt profile that balances out a top-tier APA. I will give this some credit, though. After doing mulch work in the hot sun on a summer afternoon, this lively-palated jigger is definitely a thirst quencher. Without being too heavy, it never crosses over to being a thin, watery brew. So thereís kudos to that, for sure.

Pours butterscotch amber. A fairly strong yeasty aroma. Taste first impression was that I was drinking a nice craft lager, not an APA. Nice slightly sweet grain profile, with slightest hint of hops. Nice creamy texture. As a APA it misses the mark. As a craft lager, its not bad. Also, oddly, nowhere on the bottle does it say gluten free.

12Fl OZ ($4 bottle) had this at TGI Fridays bith my meal. not a bad beer but nothing special. Iíve seen this brand around and have passed till now and I will most likely continue to pass. if they are going to make it in the beer game they will need to seriously step it up.

Pours cloudy pale amber with one fingers of light tan head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, spotty lacing. (3/5) Nose is muted pine resin, citrus, caramel malt, floral. (6/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Medium body, moderate to low carbonation, off-dry finish. (3/5) Well, itís not terrible - which is actually fairly high praise for a gluten-free. Flavours are a little dull, and it doesnít warm all that well - thereís a little something that just isnít working for me on the nose, thatís becoming more noticeable as it warms. Drinkable, though. (12/20)

14th May 2015: 12oz bottle into a La Chouffe badged stemmed tulip. Hazy amber pour, full, deep, white blanket of foam for a head. Hop lead in both the aroma and taste, bitter, yet balanced with a malt base which steadies the brew nicely. Decent stuff, gluten-free or not this is a very drinkable beer.
