I actually did not realize that this beer was gluten free, explains the lack of carbonation. This is probably the best gluten free that I have had to date. Taste like a basic pale ale with some citrus notes and a light hop bitter finish. I would recommend to my gluten intolerant friends.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter.
Pours hazy orange amber with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma has caramel sweetness, resin, citrus, oranges. Low carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet caramel, light toasted, quite hoppy, citrus, apricot, resin. Quite bitter finish. Still has a bit of that hollow feeling you get from a Gluten Free beer, but this is a really nice one of that.

Bottle. Clear orange-red body with a short head. Maraschino cherry / fruit cocktail / sweet red apple skin / citrus aroma with the same white grape and rice cake adjunct character as the lager. Medium body, somewhat rough carbonation, fizzy and minerallic and strangely syrupy, but certainly closer to what people think of APA than any other GF beer Iíve had. Mostly sweet with medium-low bitterness and a syrupy, twangy finish.

Thin flavor of fruit. Weak taste. Perfectly okay to drink. Plus it is gluten free. Follow me @ Kung av Ųl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

If someone had handed me this beer and said: "try this pale ale" I would have thought to myself "hey, this is a pretty drinkable pale ale". Not amazing but decently balanced, some hoppiness, good carbonation, decent mouthfeel, PROPER BEER TASTE. Overall, a decent pale ale- easy to drink, balanced- often a style that I am donít feel strongly about one way or the other. Now, if you tell me that this beer is gluten free- I am seriously impressed. so much better than any other gluten free beer I have ever tasted- like comparing apples and oranges. have already gone out and bought another 6 pack. can only hope Omission beer co. will keep producing more styles- this may become my everyday go-to beer as a sad beer lover who loves beer more than it loves her.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear amber color with ivory head. Toast, mild floral, caramel aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Grainy, dry caramel flavors with dirt, mild herbs--very dirty finish--not good

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy mandarin color with average head, but good lacing. Light citrus aroma. Flavor is quite weak - caramel malt, some creaminess, but very little hops. An easy drinker, and nice for the gluten-intolerant crowd, but too muted for it to be anything more than an "okay" APA.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours slightly hazy orange with a small off white head. The nose has notes of cardboard, wet dog, and caramel. The flavor is doughy with light caramel notes and a dull bitterness. Oddly filmy on the palate. Short to medium finish. Not the worst gluten free example, but Iím glad Iím not gluten intolerant.

Bottle @ home shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear orange color, small white head. Smell malts, hops, resinous, pine. Taste malts, light to moderately hops, medium bitter, lightly piney and resinous. Medium body and carbonation. Nice!
