3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @ home. Fuck, didn’t realize that I grabbed a glutten-free piece of shit. Oh well. Clear, dark burnt orange appearance with a big bubbly, tan head. Pretty grapefruit and piney hoppy forward with some light woody notes in the nose. Grainy wood, a bit charred, grapefruity, piney hoppy flavor. Maybe the most hop forward, glutten-free beer I’ve had and actually pretty good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
12oz bottle, bottled May 10, 2012. Clear amber color, with a nice thin foamy khaki head. Some loose reaches of lace. Authentic pale ale taste. Crisp lighter carbonation, dry texture. Mild bitter taste. Crisp english-style toasty malt and hop balance - if given blind, I would just think this was an light-flavored english style pale ale, but wouldn’t guess that it’s gluten-free. Impressive, but somehow, still not as drinkable as refreshing as normal beers. I actually preferred the Omission lager (tried both side-by-side).

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - Hoppy citrus and spice with a malty caramel sweetness. Pale clear copper with a thin head. Bit of up front bitterness from the hops and malts continues. Very light body, almost too light considering the flavor. If I hadn’t known this was a gluten free, I would say average APA which makes it a great gluten free.
