3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 heemer77 (5008) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - NOV 6, 2012A deep amber to copper colored brew with a thin light khaki head. The nose has some musk and wood. There is also some toffee. The taste is a fairly dry woody character. There is also some note of the musk and wood. A nice dry pale ale style brew that only lacks a little bit of the caramel flavor of a regular pale ale. This is easily the best gluten free beer I have tried.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 mrmartin (560) - Oakland, California, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Dark Golden/Amber Pour clear with moderate carbonation. Thin white head.
Nose is hoppy, mild citrusy aromatics. Easy drinking pale. Light body. Clean bitter finish. Totally drinkable for the GF catagory but pales in comparison to standard pales and IPA’s.
Good option for gluten intolerant friends (i think my partner will stick to cider though)

I liked this beer. It had a smooth body with a nice flavor. Sweet malts and enough hops to really balance it out.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kiwianer (2309) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2013
The head is medium, the body golden and clear. It smells interesting, malty, sweet-sour. The taste is sweet, hoppy, less sour. 11/9/10/10/11/10
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 PhillyBeer2112 (2437) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Well thats weird, I didn’t notice anything on the label advertising this as gluten free, though it makes sense given the name. Well I would have never guessed because my main impression of this beer was that it was a pretty standard PNW pale ale. Light hop nose was a touch spicy, hints of citrus. Flavor was balanced, a little floral and medium bready malts, balanced finish. Light, unobtrusive, clean. Pretty fair overall pale ale with good balance and no obvious flaws. (if I was a homebrew judge I’d give it near perfect marks, but this is ratebeer after all)

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-amber color with a small creamy/soapy orange-beige head .The aroma was tangy caramel, nut, fruity hops and citrus. The flavor was bitter and tart pine, grapefruit and a bit of caramel. Medium length bitter and dry pine and grapefruit. Medium body. Eh.

Unbelievably gluten free. Aroma and flavor of a basic pale ale. Caramel malts, some pine and citrus hops. Finishes clean and light but flavorful. Not bad at all.
