An absolutely fine, well balanced IPA with a citrus beginning and maybe unusual non-bitter end. Fesh, thirst-killing and light in the taste. Very good starter for a beer evening. Classy.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 McTapps (1622) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2013
Considering that I live in a IPA, APA etc.-desert, I’m looking forward to just any beers in that style and don’t really care about if its gluten free or not. This one has got a clear deep amber colour with low head and medium body. Nose of aromatic hops. Taste fresh, young, aromatic hops, fresh coriander greens, pink and white pepper, thyme, amber and spicy barley. Very easy and nice to drink, enjoyed it a lot.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 queenholly (1914) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle. Lightcaramel malt and grassy hops aroma. Hazy orange with a small yellowed ivory head. Slightly sweet bready caramel malt and herbal hops flavor. Light body, soft carbonation. I think this has to be the most well done gluten free beer I’ve tried so far.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 You just know something is not right in the world when you find yourself rating a gluten free beer. But such is life at the moment. My previous view of GF beer has moved from, "Why bother?", to "Thank God for making this available". This looks to be one of the "better" GF beers, so here we go. Golden pour, decent white head that holds on barely long enough, and an aroma that consists of mild hop and...what...is...that...some grainy aroma that reminds me of malt. It’s not bad, just different. Taste is relatively dry, slightly astringent, very grainy. This is not sweet. Finish is moderately bitter and again, grainy. Ok, in the world of beer v.s. no beer, this is actually decent. In the world of "I can drink whatever I want", not so much. That said, I’ve had plenty of pale ales, among other brews, that are substantially less interesting than this. This, at least, has character and flavor, hop taste, a finish that lingers, and a little complexity. Oddly, I dislike most of this brewers other beers, and probably have rated several at about the level or lower. Overall, my new perspective stands, "Thank God this is available". This will keep me from cheating until real beer is back up for grabs.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 AirForceHops (1922) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 2, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Trader Joe’s, Portsmouth, NH. I believe this is my 4th Gluten free beer and it’s by far the best I’ve sampled. Aroma of toasted cereal and nice floral and grassy hops. The flavor is identical to the aroma with a crisp bitterness to let you know it’s not completely dull. The floral hops linger slightly after the sip. Nice creamy texture on the palate. People with a gluten allergy finally have a decent beer to drink.
