4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Loved this, drank a few when I was done with my shift at BCTC. Perk of going back there, one last pitcher, almost all gone. Yum, great aroma of fruit roll ups, dark cocoa and faint spice. Flavor is smooth, sweet, touch of dark cocoa bitterness and spice with a balanced fruityness. Alcohol was hidden nicely, had no idea it was this big. Nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
tap @ BCTC 2011. Ok, its a big beer. Lots of dark fruits & chocolate in the nose, alcohol is somewhat restrained. Flavor has more cocoa than fruit, but the alcohol comes out more too. Its good, not great.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pouring from their table during the festival at BCTC. Pours a clear ruby brown with a thin beiged white head. Big dark soft stone fruit, plums and prunes. Chocolate, coffee, roast, and cocoa. No glaring alcohol notes on the nose, nicely hidden. Big and sticky, chocolate and plums, light warming alcohol on the finish, with more dusty roast.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
BCTC 2011, they went BIG with this one. Darker cola/quad looking pour, medium to lighter mouthfeel. Boozy, dark fruits, grapes. strong alcohol presence on the palate, agressive beer. shows its 11% proudly. decent
