Commercial Description:
Deep burgundy color with a big, fluffy head. Complex fruit aromas with a layered sweetness (honey, then caramel, then toffee) with a hint of licorice and chocolate. A big, rich, abbey-style ale that dries out nicely on the finish.

A dark red-brown beer with a small whitish head that doesn’t stick around. Aroma is dark fruit and toasty malt notes. The flavor is dominated by roast barley, with some hints of oak and prune, fig, raisin and sweetness. Perhaps some toffee and molasses. Very carbonated mouthfeel.

The beer pours a hazy red brown color with a fine lightly brown head. The nose is a sweet mix of berries, yeast oak and malts. The taste is a sweetness mixed with alcohol dark fruits, wood, sweet berries. The mouth feel is very prickly due to the high carbonation the finish is a thick feeling in the sides of the mouth mixed with sweetness that is long-lasting.

Thanks to jrob 21 for this 750. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a thick beige head. The aroma was fruit, alcohol, metallic and yeast notes. The taste was dominated by a nice fruity body with a surprisingly bitter aspect. There is a ton of yeast and some toffee, malts. Quite good, a brewery I really enjoy.

Pours a brownish amber with a big fluffy head. Aroma of dried fruits, bananas, alcohol, malt, brown sugar, and yeast. Taste is similar, fruits, malt, brown sugar. It’s a little lighter in taste than i expected, but still excellent.

Love getting around to beers I’ve had quite a few times but not gotten my lazy ass to rate. Light brown w/ large head. Aroma of dark fruit and belgian yeast. Textbook taste for a dubbel. Dark fruit, light caramel sweetness and sharp belgian yeast with a slightly dry and lighly bitter finish. Love it. One of the best values around for a 750ml. Fantastic and versatile beer for pairing with food.

Pours red with a thick, fine-foamed head. Aroma of raisins, citrus, alcohol. It isn’t as forward on the flavor as I like in a Dubbel. The alcohol flavor is most prominent. Good, but not great.
