3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SudsMcDuff (3213) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 30, 2010
I was honestly a little disappointed by this brew, to much weak dubbel and not enough belgian strong, if you will .. . a murky slow poke brown .. lacing was average .. . goes down easy but the flavours don’t quite meld together .. . I’ll try it on tap, but in the bottle i had, i didn’t like it too much ... I am speechless, i literally have nothing to say, i don’t know what you’re waiting for..

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 nuplastikk (2445) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 18, 2010
Draft at the Haze. Thick, deep brown-amber color underneath a massive rusty beige head. Very true to style, displays lots of Belgian nuances. Yeasty plum and dark fruit tastes, pungent raisin. Sweet and certainly malt centered, not much hop character to speak of. Rich and full bodied, complex dark malt and Belgian yeast flavor. Well done, though it seemed a lot cooler when it was 4.99 a bottle a few years back..
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BiddleBrau (639) - Midland Park, New Jersey, USA - MAR 7, 2010
Great deep ruby read color with off-white head. This is a really nice looking beer. Hint of malt in the nose. Nice flavor, clean malt profile. Hops provide nice dry balance to Belgian fruity sweetness.

750ml bottle. Poured a murky orange/brown with a medium head. Aroma had hints of fruit, bread and chocolate. The taste was bread, slightly fruity with some spices. Finish is dry. The body was medium/thin. I thought it could use more depth.
