Nov 16, 2007 Really good beer. Thick head on the pour, leaves a thick lace but its still opaque. Smells sweet and citrus fruity. Taste is almost of caramel and orange. Crisp mouth feel. Smooth finish. Its worth a try even at 5 bucks a beer.

Nov 13, 2007 My favorite beer from Ommegang and a really good belgian strong ale. Dark and sweet fruity flavor and aroma of prunes and plums. Full bodied and complex. Does not have much alcohol presence despite the strength. Lightly dry finish.

Nov 12, 2007 Bottle. Poured a very dark brown with a good but, not huge head of light brown. Aroma of plum and raisin. Flavor of dark fruit with a cola undertone. Good mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. A very good strong ale.
