Ale brewed with Spices: Coriander, Cardamon, Mace, Grains of Paradise, Sweet Orange Peel. Adoration is a traditional winter ale, brewed in the Belgian manner, but with the twist of unusual spicing. Sip it on a winter eve sitting before a fire. You’ll understand why we couldn’t name it anything else.

11/20/10. 750mL bottle. Deep red pour with a somewhat fizzy off-white head that fades to a couple millimeters. Huge banana and clove aroma - HUGE banana... is this a hefe? Mixed in is the spices mentioned on the label. The flavor is the same... hugely sweet banana with some spices. Meh.

Pours a garnet medium dark brown with fine bubbled lasting tan head. Aromas of dried cherries, banana, clove, brown sugar. Tastes sweet and mildly tart with notes of toasted marshmallow, licorice, and orange and a spicy dry finish. Full body with lively carbonation and fluffy texture. Not bad but very odd. I think I drank it a bit warmer than ideal.

2010 bottle (with a best by of 09/2015). Pours with a murky bronze body and a very large tan head. Hugh retention and very good lace. Aromas of dried orange peel, mace, chocolate, molasses, cardamon, spiced rum, evergreen, coriander, belgian yeast esters. Definitely a strong holiday season aroma. Perfumy, Gluhwein. Flavors of cardamon, strong curaco orange, pear, attic, mulled wine (Gluhwein), estery notes, lightly woodsy. Interesting beer. Lively and creamy bubbles. Light acidity (not sourness) to the finish.

From a bottle poured a dark amber/brown color with a fair amount of head. Strong sweet malty flavor with a lingering finish.

Very disappointing. I was really looking forward to this, but it was amazingly thin on the palate and with all of the flavors that should have been there.

This beer pours a deep brown with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. The aromas are cinnamon, orange, coriander. The mouthfeel is sticky, sweet and has an alcohol warmth. This was a very good beer. Cheers!

Pours a cola/red color with thin lacing. Some bitter orange and plum notes in the aroma. Strong from beginning of sip to end. Medium alcohol burn on the way down. Carbonation ameliorates the strength. Spices promised on the label are muted.

This corked and caged bottled brew from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a hazy dark orange brown colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was spicy herb and coriander. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of spices and herbal. Not one that I would likely drink again. Way to strong and IMHO not Quaf-able.
