COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale brewed with Spices: Coriander, Cardamon, Mace, Grains of Paradise, Sweet Orange Peel. Adoration is a traditional winter ale, brewed in the Belgian manner, but with the twist of unusual spicing. Sip it on a winter eve sitting before a fire. You’ll understand why we couldn’t name it anything else.

Bottle. Lightly hazed amber color with ivory head. Big spicy coriander, gop, cinnamon, orange aromas with marshmallow. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice mesh of spices; gop, coriander, unknown variants with a rich caramel, orange-vanilla sweetness____not overly sweet by any means. Very tasty fireside sipper

Pours a prune-mahogany into the glass, with a small eggshell head that reduces to no real lacing of which to speak. Lots of bubblegum and yeasty esters to the nose. The flavor profile is malty, with yeasty esters, melons, light citrus and bubblegum mid-palate. The Belgian Candi-Sugars and pie spices really crystallize the finish, with lots of coriander and cardamon (highlighted) integrated with zest and peel notes. The mouthfeel has semi-active carbonation, a full body, complexity for days, and a dry wintry essence that pulls it all together on a cold winter’s night.

A really lovely red brown color with a slight spice aroma and wispy head. Has a rich caramel sweet long finish with a bit of fizz.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a muddy glow and a thick, three centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of bananas, yeast, bubble gum, rich malt, alcohol and some light pit fruits. Full-bodied; Strong rich malt flavour with earth and nuts right behind, all with a pungent complex belgian yeast flavour and a rich bubble gum and banana flavour that dominates. Aftertaste shows a subdued rich character with some light chocolate, a hint of pit fruits and apples and a lot of banana and yeast characteristics - but in a pleasant and balanced way. Overall, a nicely laced beer with a good complexity and a variety of flavours that show well. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 30-November-2013 for US$2.69 sampled at home in New Paltz, New York on 18-January-2014.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2014 12 oz bottle served in a pint glass. Some sediment left clinging to the bottom of the bottle. Sept. 2013 bottling with a BB date 2018. Hazy dark amber with a durable beige head. A strong and fruity ale with good balance. High ABV shows in the mouth. Nicely smooth. Very good but may well improve with age. Very spicy nose. Banana, date, pear, apple cider.

This one is loaded with wintery goodness, makes a great Christmas present! All the spices and sweet maltiness are perfect together, it blows away every other "winter ale" I’ve had. Also quite powerful.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours reddish-brown with a slight off white head. Taste dark fruits, sweet, alcohol. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a dark hazy amber. Has a faint aroma of grapefruit. Taste is a mix of grapefruit, raisins, and some wine. A grape aftertaste.

Warming malt forward beer with spices. Like the winter warmers in moderation but this is probably the best one i have had.

On tap at Barrels & Bottles. Deep amber and hazy with a tan head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, plenty of spices/herbs and some fruity esters. Similar flavor, bringing out notes of black pepper, orange peel, cilantro, toffee and light alcohol. Fairly malty with light to mild bitterness. Medium body with a nice fluffy feel and ample carbonation. A nice sipper.
