COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ale brewed with Spices: Coriander, Cardamon, Mace, Grains of Paradise, Sweet Orange Peel. Adoration is a traditional winter ale, brewed in the Belgian manner, but with the twist of unusual spicing. Sip it on a winter eve sitting before a fire. You’ll understand why we couldn’t name it anything else.

Bottle: pours with a large off white head that stays. This sits atop a hazy amber brown body. Aroma is full of sweet spices; cardomon mostly but good orange and corriander very nice. Nice estery dark ftuits blend great with the spices, awsome aroma one of the best spice beer aromas i have had. Wow the flavor is great the mix of spices and dark fruits is fantastic. Some alcohol sneaks in yo let you know that you arw drinking a big beer.

Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange.

This was poured into a Corsendonk chalice. The appearance was a hazy burnt/ruddy brown color with a quickly dissipating slim finger-ed white foamy head. Thin speckled lacing slides into the beer at a decent pace. The smell starts off with sweet Belgian sugars, end up sliding into some Belgian spices. Light citrus and some cocoa powder. The taste was basically the same with a sweet ruddy breadiness to it. Sweet Belgian sugars bounce into the aftertaste and gives a quick dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fair sessionable to sipping feel about it. Carbonation feels good, somewhat light. Smoothness creates a slight stickiness on my tongue. Overall, no wonder they call it "Adoration," what an absolutely wonderful Belgian strong ale. I know I’d have again.

This beer is exactly what I feel a lot of other beers try to be when they mix distinct flavors. This is equally spicy and sweet, but the flavors aren’t in competition with each other and it makes for a fantastic beer. This is probably the best winter ale I’ve ever had that actively distinguishes itself from all other winter beers without going overboard and making some strange, gimmicky beer whose recipe will need to be altered every year.

reddish-brown color; nice spicy aroma; smooth with dark fruit, Belgian yeast, and lots of spice notes; a very complex, well balanced beer; lots going on, but it all blends together wonderfully; cardamom and corriander notes with hints of citrus

Pour on tap at Busters on 28th, hazy golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big coriander, clove, lemon zest, some slight spicy, peppery notes into a bit of cinnamon, some caramel, and bready notes. Taste was dominated by spice, lemon, and lots of pepper, with nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, some slight fruit, finishing with caramel, toffee, and more spice.

Old rating. Copper colored. Raisins, caramel, esters, orange peel, coriander. A bit syrupy but nice for winter.

Pours hazy copper-amber color with a creamy, 2-finger tan head. Nutty malt aroma, with notes of coriander, citrus, and a touch of yeast. Full body with a mild syrupy thickness. A brief note of astringency to the finish. Flavor of nutty malt with a lingering spice note at the back. A mild note of citrus underneath. Still pretty "young", but good. Have a feeling it’ll improve with age.
