bottle from olivers in Albany, enjoyed in my hotel room. Pours deep amber hue with ruby edges. Tan foam head that has an ample amount of lacing. Nose of malt, bread, plum, raisin, and booze. Taste is sweet upfront with gentle wisp of flowery hop presense. Plum shows mid gulp. Body is medium to full.

Aroma lacks a forward alcohol presence which is nice. Great foamy pour that took forever to dissipate. Chocolate notes that aren't too overbearing in the taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml. Like 15 bucks or something..errr...wut? Pretty solid Belgian Dark Ale. Big fruity notes, quite complex. Big and sugary, grounded with a deep Black Malt tone, but aggressive yeast tones and alcohol. Not unlike classic Trappist Ales, but maybe a little sugary and overbearing instead of sublime.
