Bottle. At Chris_O’s September 2008 DenCan bash. I brought this one - via jerc and rudolf. Hazy amber with a large diminishing beige head. Floral, slightly funky aroma, some apple and cranberry - underpinned by tons of yeast and dry bitterness. The taste follows, lightly alcoholic and floral-sweet. Silky mouthfeel, a little light bodied, pungent yet not quite pungent enough. Tasty enough, but it seems to be lacking ... something.

Bottle at chris_o’s pre beer exposed tasting. Alround rating: Typical saison, cereal grainy malts, subtle spice, very yeasty and bittering hop. I cant figure out why theres brett in here as its like so subtle you cant really notice it unless your told its there and unless you use like loads of it your not going to get any benifits.

shared by dickinsonbeer. Orange in color with a small off white head. Aroma of spice, coriander, citrus, light brett. Taste of belgian yeast, light spice, citrus, mild brett. Medium bodied. Pretty nice, would have liked more brett.

Pours hazy pale orange with a good, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has oranges, brett and apples. Wonderful, creamy mouthfeel. Rather sweet flavour, still some bretty character and a little caramel. Nice enough.

Bottle from 08 Night of the Funk. Aroma of caramelly malt with Belgian yeasts, pears, apples, hint of semi-sweet pineapple (funk?). Flavor is a solid but fairly standard biere de garde following in the footsteps of the aroma. Good beer, but didn’t get anything special or particularly interesting from it.
