Dark brown to black in color with a good sized beige colored head. Decent amount of sediment floating in there. Smell is roasty, chocolate, malts, and somewhat sweet. Taste is semisweet chocolcate chips, roasty, and malts.

Brewed in the USA !!! (KSBF) Pours a dark brown color with a med tan head. The aroma is of mild chocolate, roasted malts, and dark fruit. The taste is much of the same with some coffee notes. The finish is dry, but i like it....... This stout was yummy. :)

Deep chocolate aromas and colors and flavors. Malty throughout, without being too heavy on the palate. This beer melts in your mouth -- with identifiably Belgian chocolate notes: nutty, slightly bitter, light coffee. Aromas are equally intense, with a sweet caramel addition on the nose.

Half pour at the Blind Tiger. Just about black in color (dim lighting so I don’t know for sure) with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, not much roast, molasses, some dark fruit and some yeasty notes. Taste is chocolate- malt and real chocolate, molasses/caramel, as it warmed the phenols and esters from the yeast became a bit more apparent. I thought the body was a bit thin overall for the style. Was enjoyable though.

Good beer. Smells red winey, dark dried fruit, dark cocoa, and alcohol (odd for the lower percentage). Taste is of dark chocolate and medium maltiness, also a bit tart. Mouthfeel is flat and relatively thin and just ok, not what you would expect from the aroma and taste. Nice beer with a wierd combo of imperial stout aroma, imperial porter/belgian ale taste, and a below average viscosity. 2007 22oz.

Bomber: Broke this puppy out after looking at it for a good bit. Pours dark with an sloe expanding head that settles to rocky. Nose is of dry flat malts and a bit of toffee. Chocoltiness is apparant after first sip. Surprisingly medium bodied for as rich as it is. Duration is average and finish is smooth. Alcohol is well hidden.

bottle, black walnut color with nice dirty brown foam, nose is light cocoa and dusty books, I liked the flavor combination of red curry and cocoa, finish is a little thin and could use some more chocolate
