Bottle courtesy of eaglefan538. Medium dry chocolate and yeast on the nose. Black body with tan head and dececnt lacing left on glass. Flavor had a rich chocolate but there was a dry power coco presence that was interfering with that chocolate candy flavor. Notheless chocolate left on palate with mild dryness and a good brew. Thanks Brian.

Quite a chocolate nose, deepest brown, pours a large cappuccino head. Flavour is roasted coffee, burnt toast, milk chocolate. Full bodied, very bitter. Terrific! Thank you mds.

Big pop from the cork. Very thick brown parfait head. Dark beer. Cocoa and chocolate pudding aroma. Dry chocolate flavour. Surprising alcohol warmth in the first sip. After that the alcohol is not up front at all. Flavour seems to thin out quickly. Chocolaty dark malt beer. Crispy finish.

Poured pitch black with a dark tan head. Aroma - roast malt and cocoa. Taste was dominated by baking chocolate and burnt malt. Perhaps a hint of coffee and dark fruit.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a medium sized, light brown head. Aroma of semi-sweet chocolate, roasted malts. Flavor is dry, dark chocolate with coffee notes. Finish is smoky and bitter. Good beer, but I was hoping for a bit more.

With an assortment of gourmet cheescakes brought by our guests, I pulled out one of these. It went so well with the silky desserts. It was not too chocolatey, but vert smooth. I was glad to share this dessert...even if it was with Packer fans.

Has an interesting smokey chocolate aroma. Typical dark coffee appearance. The flavor is a light chocolate/coffee flavor, not as strong as I anticipated.
