Tried this both on draft at GABF 2007 and bottled, thanks to Theis. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of chocolate and roasted malt, the roasted malt also giving it an edge of acidity. The flavor is sweet with notes of cocoa and chocolate, as well as a touch of metal in the bottle which I didn’t detect on draft, leading to a dry roasted and bitter finish, with an acidic note from the roasted malt lingering. I prefer the draft version slightly over the bottled version, differens 0.2.

From bottle, Papsoes blindtasting #19. Pours pitch black and with a small tan head. Roasted and burned malt aroma, light metallic and dark chocolate. Light chalky touch. Roasted malty and breadish flavoured, light acidic touch. Vague smoked note. Dark roasted and vague metallic flavoured finish. Smooth chocolate like finish.

Bottle 75cl. @ Papsoes blindtasting. [ Bottle #19. ]
Unclear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, wood, cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20090501]

Bottle. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized lacing beige head. Light roasted aroma of choclate with some sweetness and notes of caramel and nuts. Light roasted flavour of chocolate with notes of caramel and hops. Dry roasted finish. Could use a bit more of everything.
