Pours to an extreme black, with a nice, tan head. Great, sweet aroma, lots of chocolate, reminiscent of a chocolate malted milkshake. Again, a good amount of chocolate in the body, but not too sweet to enjoy. Smooth, creamy, with a touch of cocoa powder. A little roasted malt on the finish, with bitter coffee. Easy drinking sweet "stout".

Pours a nice thick almost black with a nice tan head that ends in a thin layer and stays that way. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. First sip brings a big bitterness that soon fades. Again, coffee and chocolate reign supreme. Hops are in there but are not significant to the taste and some dark fruit can be noted. This is a chocolate and coffee bomb and is a very good beer that is exactly as advertised.

Pours dark blackish / brown with a soapy dark tan head. The aroma has cocoa, natural sweetness, roasted malt and spicy effervescence. Medium / rich body that ends thin and has fairly sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with light berries and roasted malt. Quickly the berries go away and a funk comes in that is very Belgium and yeasty. Along with that comes chocolate and spice and there is a smooth creaminess to everything. The finish has more chocolate and spice. A very interesting and unique beer. If the price was in line with this regular offerings I’d have this quite often, but at twice the price it will probably just be for special occasions.

Poured a hazy deep brown color with a tan head. Really nice smooth milk chocolate and roasted coffee aroma. The flavor was more roast than chocolate but still a decent of cocoa in it. Hint of tartness. Medium body with an almost creamy mouthfeel.

dark with a head of different shades of tan and brown...like those people that have pigment problems with their skin or birthmarks...kind of like an albino black person. The aroma certainly has tons of cocoa with some milkiness in the background. Some nice roasted malt notes also. Flavors have a little tinniness to them at the beginning, though the mouthfeel is pretty lucious. Some bitterness is there yet the dominant characteristic is chocolate. Pretty good for a chocolate beer.

Holy Cocoa Puffs, this is a great stout! Okay, maybe drinking it while watching the Pats beat the Jags added to the score, but this is quite a drink.... if you like chocolate. Pours like frothy chocolate syrup. Sweet and bitter notes to the nose. Good, solid stout maltiness up front with some mild chocolate then the finish pops up with a nice dark chocolate hit. I never thought I would write chocolate in a beer descriptions.
