Black with a thick and long lasting head. Looks good in the glass and gives off the aroma you’d expect (though i wish the chocolate was a bit more in your face). Tastes good, chocolate and coffee, a bit overly roasted flavor for my tastes, solid beer.

Aug 29, 2008 750 mL C&C from Wine Warehouse. Very dark brown with a medium head that lasts forever. Strong cocoa aroma with some spice. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and hops. Medium body and very silky texture. A little bit too much on the decadent side.

Aug 19, 2008 750ml bottle: poured dark brown with a fairly large brown head. Roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate in the aroma. Moderately dry flavor with chocolate notes and roasted malt. High carbonation. Good.

Aug 17, 2008 Pours deep brown with a fine, tan head. Aroma is yeasty with vanilla and chocolate notes. Strong bitter chocolate flavor with vanilla and yeasty flavors standard of Ommegang. Very good.

Aug 13, 2008 Bottle from Oldsmar Tap House. It pours a dark brownish-black with a slight off-white/ tan head. It has a very big dark chocolate and a weaker, but very noticeable coffee presence, too. The cocoa is very noticeable with the slightly bitter finish.
