4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A very good example of the style, extremely floral on the nose, like being in a well kept flower garden with a variety of different breeds, not as light and easy drinking as you might expect from the style and a bit of the herbal quality becomes harsh on the finish or else this would be an unbelievable beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Yellowish-orange pour with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of lemon zest and flowers. Bright, citrusy hop flavor with a bitter finish from the Belgian-style yeast. Slightly Earthy on the finish and certainly very dry. Achieves what the brewer intended; an approachable, full-flavored, Summery Belgian ale. Nicely done.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle of Flower of Hops with a BB date stamp of 3/2015.
The pale, hazy golden body is topped by a fine looking near white head that has good retention.
Both the aroma and the flavor are indeed flowery and hoppy, but there’s an over-abundance of yeast in the nose that detracts a little from my enjoyment, despite the nice fruity elements it brings. Mildly sweet up front and slightly bitter by the finish. Spiciness builds in tasting.
Feel: crisp; semi-dry and slightly over-lively feel. Medium-light body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
ABC Orlando bottle decently fresh. Cloudy straw color with a bubbly white head and a little lacing. Classic Belgian ale aroma with a good hoppy kick. Flavor is a little muted with light bitterness and a tweak of citrus. Okay.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into a trappist glass. Delicious looking gold straw with half-inch frothy, undulating head. Nose is fruity. Maybe a homeopathic bit of banana clove. Taste is more mute than a German hefe. Sweet but nondescript with a bitter linger. One of the most interesting beers I’ve had in a while. Worth a try.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear light amber with a solid two-finger white head, stripes of lace. Nice floral aromas along with light wheat. Taste is mild bitter wheat in tandem with a kind of Fruit-Stripe Gum (if you remember that). Maybe a little apple in the finish. A really fresh, bright brew that suggests warm summer afternoons in a very pleasing way. Excellent brew.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. (The Greenville Beer Exchange) Greenville, SC.
Hazy yellow colour with a small to mid-size white head.
The aroma is delicious fruity hops, mild bitterness, yeast and spices. Yummy!
The flavour is also delicious. Yeast, fruity hops, mild bitterness, spices and some maltiness. Balanced and tasty. An excellent example of American Belgian ale.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a nice looking light to clear yellow color with a good transparency about it. The head was quick and dissipating into barely nothing. Lacing left a lot to be desired.
The smell was absolutely spectacular as it had a superb grassy / sweet to lemon bursting citrus hops.
The taste was sweet, light grassy, light sweet lemon bursting into sweet orange juice - like character.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a superb sessionability about it. Carbonation was extremely smooth.
Overall, whoah, where did this come from, Ommegang? Way to freaking go! Please send some of this earlier next Summer as I’m trying to switch to my darker brews right now.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Almost light and airy enough to be close to witbier territory. Cloudy orange gold with a small fizzy head. Light floral hoppy aroma. Taste is equal parts floral, malt, hops, lavender, coriander. Dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Serving: Draft at MacDowell Brew Kitchen. It pours a yellow color with a slight haze and a pillowy white head. Then nose has a touch of grain, yeast, and lemon. The flavor follows suit with a touch of florals and citrus pith. Refreshing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very hazy and bright yellow color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was pepper, citrus, must, funk and was dryish. The flavor was dryish, tart, chalky and quite musty with notes of citrus, funk, chamomile and other vague herbs. Very long finish that turns very dry. Medium body. Interesting.
