Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy wheat, citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. I would recommend this to a friend.

Pours fantastic. Light straw yellow, turbid, hazy and with a fluffy white head of foam that never fell off completely. Left plenty of soft lace all over the glass. Champagne bubbles too, this is visual perfection. Nose is superb. Belgian yeast, tart lemon, floral and earthy. A touch of banana, bubblegum, clove, those grains of paradise and underneath- good bread and soft malt sweetness. So perfectly light. Itís buoyant on the palate. All components have a brightness of character that is full but never maxed out. Taste is smooth, bubblegum and sweet bread. Malt is no stranger in this drink. Itís flavorful but delicate. Leaves just dry with a hint of hop oil bitter to make your mouth water and a lingering sweetness.

This is a visually stunning ale that is soft and silky and drinks like it was made to be drunk. Itís Belgian spice character that doesnít overwhelm with the sheer number of things, itís hops that arenít blown all out of proportion & sweet malt at itís full and subtle best. Ommegang treats you to some finesse with this one.

750 cc from Caponeís and Craft Ale House. Pours turbid dark straw..pretty deep golden with 1-finger frothy white head and a lot of carbonation. Nose is floral yeasty spice, white pepper, limey citrus, noble hops. Tastes dry, floral, spicy, with hopcitrus, more dry floral fruity yeasty notes as it warms, and a lot of complexity. This is one of my favorite Ommegang beers.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours hazy orange with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a bit of funk, yeast, very saison like. The taste is mostly dry, light banana, slight fruit. Nice brew.

Hazy golden ale, that poured a nice dense and frothy head. Aroma has a distinct citrus/lemon scent to it with some notes of spices, all of which carried over well to taste which was sweet and puckery.

Pours a Lannister gold with a hint of fruit on the nose. Nice big head on this one. Super easy to drink. Has a nice amount of carbonation to really push the citrus notes.

Huge white head. Herbaceous and yeasty nose. This beer has alot of carbonation. Yeasty and bread mixed with light fruitiness and subtle hops. Has a slight funky finish.

Bottle bought at the gold price pours Joeffery Barathean gold of hair, with an unending white head. Nose of malt, clove, and a copious amount of coriander. Taste is overwhelmed by The herbs that comes from an array of substances from the maester. Light clove from the southlands. light grassiness from the Dothraki Sea. Westeros hangs in the balance. Body is lord of light and reminds us that the night is dark and full of terrors.

A very nice blond, cloudy yellow with a big lacing head. The aroma is Malthus sweet with a hint of spice. The flavor starts sweet, has a nice bitter balance and a bit of spice and pepper at the end. Dry and refreshing as most of their beers are.
