COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

Pours a cloudy golden blonde with a profuse white head. Nose is interesting, kind of strange fruit skin acidity and peppery quality. Kind of muddled and singular. Not too crazy about this one. Peppery flavor, very peppery. Kind of spruce-y and a touch bitter. Not too impressed with this one. Medium light bodied with a peppery finish.

Bottle at James’s 4k/5k/10k tasting. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Big fuzzy musk, smells like classic Ommegang, a mix of Hennepin and Witte. I like both of those, so this is going well so far. Medium bodied, musky and yeasty. Big lovely musk. Very easy drinking. Wish they’d named this something else so that I could get it easily and drink it.

On tap at Hurricane in Vero Beach. Pours golden yellow with a medium off white head. Nose is laid back and a bit fruity. Taste is certainly that of a Belgium Ale, with hints of lemon peel. Very lively carbonation. I could see this being a great beer for the beach.

wow this was awesome Pours a cloudy pale gold with a huge, fluffy, surging white head. Intermittent spotty lace. Big green apple and watermelon nose. Super sugary. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Green apples, watermelon, and sweet cream on the mid palate. Long cloying sugary finishme

Draft at Republic 7 corners. Somewhat faint, yet discernible, hazy light gold with beautiful, white sheet lace. Belgian ale aroma. Initial mouthfeel is basic, Belgian ale. Expert execution of the style. Not much more to say.

Golden pour with a hint of haze. Nice soapy white head that fades pretty quickly. Great clean aroma with notes of lemon and clove, as well as hints of bubblegum and herbal hops. The yeast-driven qualities of the beer come through just as clearly in the flavor, with the added bonus of very nice, dry citrus finish. Great prickly mouthfeel that compliments the flavors of the beer well. Overall, I’m pretty impressed. I’m excited to see what else Ommegang comes up with for this Game of Thrones series.

Bottle, caged & corked. Bright golden and brilliantly active, rising to a mammoth pile of pure white, tightly packed foam. This drinks with an almost milky consistency, silky and smooth. There’s a fundamental wheaty basis here, IMHO, with a hint of lemongrass, and subtle herbal accents. Nice, light yet meaty. (#5025, 5/15/2013)

Bottle from store in Garland, TX. Pours a golden yellow/blonde with a medium white head leaving some decent lacing down the sides. The aromas are musk, lemon, yeast. The mouthfeel is watery and slightly dry with a light body and great carbonation. Great session beer! Cheers!

Bottle - Citrus lemon, cilantro and belgian yeast. Clear bubbly gold with a frothy head. Nice and light, some hay and again the yeast. A very basic beer that is refreshing and clean but by no means as exciting as the show.

Thought I wasn’t going to get to try this after it initially sold out quick but now come episode 6 it’s just sitting there at whole foods. Pours gold with huge fluffy bleach white head. Nose of spices and tropical fruit. Tastes of apricots, white pepper, coriander, yeast, biscuits, ginger, and touch sourness. Refreshing brew look forward to rest of series both the beers and tv
