3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour from a 750 ml cork and cage bottle. Clear golden in color with a thick white head. Nose is fruit and citrus. Slight citrus taste with some hop bitterness and lots of interesting belgian yeast notes: pepper and orange peel. Quite nice!

This one poured a very hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was yeasty, light herbal notes, and some fruit peel. Flavor was similiar, light spices, herbal hops aroma, and some lemon peel. Ok.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle from Hampton Falls Village Market. Tulip glass displays a clear gold with foamy sticky lace. Pleasant nose of Belgian yeast with a light pepper spice. Flavor has light fruits, hay and grass with fruit flavors of apple or pear. Flavor of yeast is strong yet the body of the beer is light. Mouthfeel is smooth with light carbonation. This is not the most complex Belgian ale you will ever experience yet, it is well made from a larger brewery. Really easy to drink and tasty enough.

Floral, banana, clove, nectarine, golden raisins, and honey aromas. Hazy yellow-gold with a fully lasting, white head. Dry with some funky tartness and earthy, hop bitterness. Light-medium body, lively carbonation, with a floral hoppy, spicy finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 bottle. Pours hazy light gold with a nice white head. Nose is musty, yeasty, with some spicy hints. Taste-the carbonation blasts you in the face at first, then a bit of pepper and light yeast finish. Nice Belgian style single. Whatís up with the marketing tie in with Game of Thrones?

Typical belgian blonde. Nothing stands out too much about it. Marketing grab by brewer

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Packaged on 02/06/13, best by 02/2015. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a cloudy gold color with a couple inch white head. Head retention is very good, and thereís a lot of lacing that sticks around the glass. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like citrus peel, peppery spice, bananas, Belgian yeast and some grassy hops. The brew tastes mostly like the aroma, but thereís also the addition of some herbs, honey, and some wheat/bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís easy to drink and has nice, lively carbonation. I think this is a good overall brew, too bad it was limited and not readily available. $7.49 a bottle.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle served cold.Glowing golden pour with a nice head of frothy white cream. The head quickly reduces to a lacy of fine white lace on the top of the beer and climbing the sides of the chalice. Aroma is citrus, grass, and a very fresh set of spices. The yeast seems clean. It informs me of its Belgian origins, but Iím not expecting it to overwhelm the character of the beer like some. The flavors are crisp and clean, with sharp spices and a European hop bitterness reminiscent of fine pilsener. The body includes sharp carbonation that really opens up the aroma and flavors. The fine folks at Ommegang really know what they are doing.
