Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.
Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.
Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

So, I don’t really rate very often but I felt compelled to.
Pour is a thick deep golden color with faint carbonation making its way up very slowly...causing the beer to look very viscous...it has a thin vibrantly white head...smell is fruity and esthery and very malty...mouthfeel is full and thick and just about as viscous as I suspected, but that delicate carbonation seemed to break up some of the thickness, otherwise the sweetness would probably become a bit cloying...bright and sweetly malty for sure with a lot of not so subtle citrus notes...finish is lingeringly sweet, but thankfully the carbonation mitigated any real cloying characteristics...a really nice beer and spring is a perfect time for it...
