COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

Hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma is full of grains of paradise, citrus and Belgian yeast. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of grains of paradise, coriander and white pepper as well as some biscuit malt, alcohol and orange citrus. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Poured from a bottle into glass. Golden yellow pour with a nice white head. Smells fruity, yeast, some bread, pepper. Clean flavor. Some mild belgian funkiness, some sweet fruit notes, banana, pepper. Nothing outstanding but crisp and clean. Refreshing.

Cork shot out like a rocket. Clear gold pour with a huge white head. Aroma was spice, bread, and banana. Taste was intensely spicy with some banana and citrus way in the background. Soft on the palate.

Poured a clear medium yellow with a huge head. Nose is clean as is the palate. Just sort of pedestrian blonde ale, nothing special.

Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Dark golden, slightly murky with a bubbly white head. Aroma has a nice subtle spiciness to it, some lemony zest. Flavor is full bodied with a citrusy back end, some saffron-like spiciness, some yeasty notes, some passion fruit frutiness. Nice spritz to the mouthfeel. Pretty solid.

Had it on tap, pours a orangey gold with a nice firm head. Nose has Ommegang’s usual yeast, breads, a bit of banana. The first flavor profile is citrus and the Belgian yeast funk which gives way to pepper and enough hops to liven it up. Sweet honey maltiness at the end makes a very nice impression. The mouthfeel was more carbonated than I expected and combines with the lemon notes to give this a zing. Reminds me of Goose Island Matilda. Really liked it as a warm weather refreshing draft. The 6.5% ABV is hidden well. Very easy drinking, but not boring at all. Well done, Ommegang and Game Of Thrones!

Head is thick and foamy. It holds about half inch until last sip. Color is an orangey pale and hazy amber. Aroma is yeast, wheat, very mild spices. Reminds me of a Hefeweizen is color and smell. Taste is of wheat, sweet malt, and mild hops. On the palate I taste mild citrus such as lemon. I'm also picking up mild peppery taste and wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(750ml bottle) cloudy medium orange, lasting creamy offwhite head. Nose of true Belgian yeast, spices, chewable vitamins, coriander, crisp. Taste of coriander, watery spices, cinnamon, aged hops, well carbonated, natural carbonation mouthfeel.

Pours a red gold with a thick, nearly pure white head that leaves thick lacing. Nose is malty banana with a little berry. The body is nice, full and creamy with some bite at the end. Starts smooth and creamy, followed by a bitter stab of hops a touch of black pepper. Tart fruit comes through now and then, as well. Overall, a pretty fair representation of House Lannister in beer form.
