COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Bottle: Pours a nice bright clear golden color with a big white head on it. Aromas are fruity and honey. Smells like spring. Taste is sweet, with a nice acidic-like Belgian finish that leaves you wanting another sip. This beer is a wonderful warm weather beer, but is as equally at home on a cold night when you are looking for something clean and refreshing.

Pours a hazy orange with a huge head of large bubbles, lots of carbonation. Aroma is clove, banana, orange fruit, coriander, honey, yeast, hops. Taste is honey, clove, orange, coriander, hops, and a great strong malt/yeast finish that warms with the 9.5% ABV. Great beer, easy to drink despite the high ABV.

Bottle @ NYC Craft Beer Festival. Hazy golden yellow with large white foamy head, honey aroma, high carbonation, honey like taste, abrupt finish. Enjoyable beer!

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The best buy date is smudged but it looks like sometime in 2016. Hazy yellow pour with a modest white head. The aroma is spiced with coriander, pepper. pear, and apple with a mild alcohol bite. But it smells fantastic. The body is medium to full and warming on the throat. The taste is rambunctious with that same yeasty, toasty, bready malt character offset by a peppery, spicy bitterness to the finish.

Great ale. Hazy golden color , big white head. Clove , banana , yeasts and spices in aroma. Spicy, fruity , malty taste with gentle bitterness . Unconceivable easy to drink as for the beer with high ABV.

Spiciness pervades but it's not overly hoppy. A frothy head lathers over a beautiful golden blonde color. Some sediment can be seen in the glass which is charming. The bite of spice is somewhat harsh even without the sting of bitter hops, so a desired smoothness is not present. Overall pretty good but wouldn't buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden straw colored. Fruity aroma and scents of hops. Thick white head and some carbonation. Fruity, banana, and clove taste. Hints of the vanilla. For a beer with lots of alcohol, it doesn’t have a strong alcohol taste. Smooth finish, no bitter aftertaste.

Gold. Nice aroma floral grass and mild citrus. Blond ale flavors - can't decide if it is sweet or not. Well balanced. Does not drink like a 9% beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours unclear blonde, small white head. Smell is a lot like la chouffe, sweet and coriander. Taste is bitter, coriander, sweet , herbal. Ok, tastes like they brewed the la chouffe recipe in NY, with a tad more hops. Ok
