COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Lemon like fruity esters with honey and a light spicy hop on the aroma. Light golden color with a white head with excellent head retention. Flavor is full of sweet pils and spicy hops. Bitter is medium and helps dry out the beer on the end. Typical Belgian esters are present. Mouthfeel is medium with a high level of carbonation which leads to a little acidic bite. Overall, it's a good tasting Belgian golden. My only issue is that it's a little too sweet. More bitterness is needed for balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured a hazy gold colour with a thick head and beautiful lacing. Decent fruity and yeast aroma. Very smooth and sweet taste with a thick body. A slight tangy aftertaste. Goes down easy.

Tap at Lake & Irving in a tulip glass. Deep golden and a healthy head/lacing. Expected a stronger aroma but getting mostly a faint hint of pine and a minor citrus note. Taste is extremely pleasant and greets the tongue with citrus, hops, and a slight yeast/funk. It’s a surprisingly clean beer to drink with an aftertaste that leans comfortably into the hop resin world. I would definitely hang out with this gnome...and maybe convince him to bring his Chouffe Houblon friends too.

Tap at lake and Irving. In tulip glass. Gold with thick white head and great lacing. Faint pine with some grain and a bit of yeast aroma. Sweet and clean, some fruit and good yeast flavor. Super easy to drink. Perfectly balanced. Alcohol well hidden. Finish is clean but full. Really nice.
