COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Pours a bright and hazy yellowish golden with a medium white head. More sweet aroma contains orange, wheat, apple, banana, and spices. Very Belgainy. The taste is fruity which is balanced by a nice sweetness. It loses a little bit from the aroma. Here we find wheat, orange, banana, and just a touch of orange. Orange and wheat aftertaste is short. Alcohol content is noticed rather quickly. Medium bodied, thick in texture, with soft carbonation. Nothing really stands out with this one to make it really special, but its alright.

Bomber thanks to mark. Clear gold with a white head. Fruity with muted typical Belgian spice flavor.

Tap (Happy Gnome Beer Dinner), yellow gold pour with a white head, sweet taste of fruit and yeast, slight hop and spice finish, very nice Belgian Strong Ale

Floral and citrus hop aromas, subtle sugar. Pale orange, slightly hazy, wgite head lasting. Dry, savory, some notes of butterscotch, some soft cheese funk. Light-medium bodied, smooth, well hidden high alcohol.

Pours hazy straw with a good amount of sediment. Nose is ommegang yeast, banana and fruity esters, a bit bready. Taste is interesting, with pineapple juice, house yeast, lot of fruity esters, rather sweet, barnyard funk. Does not taste nearly the almost 10% it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I got this as a sampler pack and couldn’t wait to drink it. It did not disappoint me. Not the absolute best but deserves the recognition.

Mugs Ale House, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, spice, and apparently chocolate, though I could barely notice it. Apparently there was some licorice too, but it evaded my taste buds. Taste is nice and bitter, a tad funky, slightly sweet. Easy drinking. Light even though it has high abv. A subtle and nuanced beer.

at Union League. Clear golden with visible carbonation white head. Malty nose and yeasty. Spicy but full malt profile. Much fuller body than I expected and sweeter.

Hazy golden pour w/ a fluffy white head that leaves lacing. Enticing Belgian yeast & spice in the aroma. The taste is rather clean & crisp & exceptionally smooth at nearly 10%. It has just enough bite in the finish to make this fairly complex & tasty! Good stuff!

On tap at Bigalora. Nice complex Belgian aroma and taste, but a bit of a weak finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
