COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, herbs, moderate yeasty, overriped fruit. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, overriped fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110807]

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is yeasty, light estery and mild spiced. Phenolic, malty, sweet, caramelish and into a dry finish. Lasting phenolic impression mixed with a light fruity note. Ends dry and bitter.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Flavour is fruity, floral, honey, nectar and some rather sweet notes. Mild spicy and alcoholic notes as well. Pleasant.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden. Fruity nose with evident butter, hay and alcohol. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Buttery with pear-like esters, some hay-like, resiny hops, menthe candy and calvados. Peppery finish with some resin and rather extreme alcohol heat. Unbalanced.

Dean Swift - RBESG Tasting. Hazy gold beer. Little white head. Light crisp palate, dry. Sweetish malt. Minerals. Trace of dried fruits. Dry frothy finish. Pinch of herbs and spices. A tad too dry but ok.
