COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delectable blonde ale is a co-creation of two famed farmstead breweries: Brewery Ommegang and Brasserie d’Achouffe. It employs five fine malts, two noble hops, and both of the distinctive Chouffe and Ommegang yeasts. You’ll enjoy the smooth drinkability, fruity aromas and flavors, and warming finish

Both of the brewery’s in this adventure are great and maybe I just wanted to much, but I was a little let down. All the basics are here aroma good, appearance great but at 9.5 abv you think you are going to get a big and complex beer and I was bored with it. Easy drinker and I would drink again but with less expectation.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with fluffy, white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of funky yeast, bready malt and herbal hops. Body is full, oily and crisp. Taste is of spicy yeast, biscuit malt, herbal hops, cotton candy, alcohol and ripe pears. Finish is very dry. Very tasty brew.

Nice spicy floral aroma. Fruity, light crisp flavor with a little sourness, but not too much. Just a great blonde ale.

Cloudy, slightly orange, body with a large white head. The aroma is full of both fruity esters and spicy phenolic notes. There is a decent amount of floral, citrus, and earthy notes as well. Nice sweet malt, light alcohol, and a dry, abrupt finish. Well made. Quite good.

Very hard to believe this is 9.5%. Comes off light, fruity, and a little tart. Malt is lightly sweet but fills the palate. Floral hops. Pear. Pepper and clove from Belgian yeast, similar to Ommegang’s usual style even though it’s not their yeast. Can’t imagine a more drinkable or refreshing beer at this ABV.

A fantastic beer and par for the course for ommegang. Golden, spicy, lots of pepper and a pleasant tropical fruit finish.

Very tasty Belgian. The yeast was well treated to generate good fruit. Malty but not too sweet. Some hops in mid sip.Smooth.

This beer was so good, it prompted me to make an account here! Deeeep complexity, powerful yeastiness topped with the perfect bite of hops. Super creamy head, earthy sweet aroma with a hint of citrus, beautiful pour. And like others have said, you’d never guess there was a 9.5 ABV hiding in there!

The ABV is well hidden behind a semi sweet and slightly spiced hop and malt profile. Banana is in the nose and Belgian yeast is evident. Hazy gold with fluffy white head.

"another hit from Ommegang. This one has a vibrant fruity hoppy aroma, and a flavor to match. dry citrus abounds, and it’s incredibly drinkable. for such a strong beer, the alcohol isn’t even noticed."

Lemon like fruity esters with honey and a light spicy hop on the aroma. Light golden color with a white head with excellent head retention. Flavor is full of sweet pils and spicy hops. Bitter is medium and helps dry out the beer on the end. Typical Belgian esters are present. Mouthfeel is medium with a high level of carbonation which leads to a little acidic bite. Overall, it's a good tasting Belgian golden. My only issue is that it's a little too sweet. More bitterness is needed for balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
