COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Thick white head, well carbonated with a bit of funk and leathery aromas coming through. Light malt character with hints for toast and grain. Grassy, herb hop notes, with a slightly dry finish.

Crisp apples, beautiful pale blonde with a luxurious head... A bit of champagne feel to the carbonation... Overall very great saison... Would of liked a bit more spice but good enough for a great beer... I mean thats just me after 13 hours of work... cheers...

Bottle at Brick Store Pub in Decatur Georgia. A blond beer with a herbal nose, also a bit chemical. Malty and herbal taste but I notice some chlorine too. Anyway this off flavor spoils it for me.

Picked up this one on suggestion of the girlfriend. Citrusy without being annoying, hoppy on the back palate. The appearance is nice and unfiltered and overall a solid brew.

Cloudy gold pour with a small white head. Nose is citrus, slight yeasty barn funk and earth. Flavor is slight sugary, orange and yeasts, some phenols. Finishes slightly dry. Pretty tasty.

Pours an awesome slightly hazy light yellow with a 2 finger head. Aroma is lemon, Belgian spice and just plain clean smelling. Taste follows. Great Belgian spiciness that doesn’t over power the palette. Nice lemon zestiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Originally rated 01/13/12. Pours goldy-orange, thick fluffy head with lots of carbonation. Semll is floral, lemon grass, yeast, some nice spice, pear and very small amount of banana ester. Taste is slightly toasted grains, light caramel, bana, lemon, more pear, spice. more dark sweetness and spice than I was expecting, quite a robust Saison. Slight damp hay kind of quality, not really funky though. Bigger mouthfeel than I was expecting too, rather medium, and the carbonation is there but not stage-stealing. Quite nice beer.

Bottle. Lovely clear golden color with lots of carbonation and a huge, firm and fluffy white head. Nice aroma of spicy hops, flowers, yeast and fruit esters. Dry-ish flavor with yeast, fruit, some spiciness and a light malty sweet backbone. Finishes drier and moderately bitter with some spiciness, slightly earthy hops and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation. A good one.
